Midway through "The long hard road out of hell", the Marilyn Manson autobiography. It's an interesting read to say the least.

I've watched Hunger Games because I LOOOOVED the books, and want to see/read TFIOS and Divergent, but am hesitant because I feel like Shailene Woodley will ruin it for me as I can't see her as a serious actress because of "Secret Life".

I'm also excited for the Miss Peregrine series of movies, which is based off another young adult book series.

As for why? Because they're easy to make (the script is basically half-written when they're based on books) and teens have the most disposable income. Duh.

Yeah, I got it from Dominos once, and once from something else but I can't remember offhand what it was.

Maybe it's because you're 'the boy' of the family. Lots of families are like that, the boys and girls are treated differently, or the older and younger children are. My family is that way, with my younger sister being coddled and catered to, and me being told to suck it up.

A lot of families I know with one boy in them see the boy being treated like they should be a self-sufficient man-of-the-house, and the girls are handed things the boy is seen as having to 'work for' to 'build character'. It's dumb, it's sexist, but that's how some people think, especially men.

Maybe see if you can get some government grants for helping you get a vehicle? You're disabled, so I'd think that would bump you up the list or onto your own list entirely.

Yes, for maybe 14 years now, to some degree. It was worst between the ages of 14-18.

At this point I'm not sure if I've stopped being constantly depressed or if I'm just so used to being in a perpetually glum state that it's become my new normal, like how people who've lost an arm eventually stop reaching for things with their stumps.

If you're going to make a thread trying to sound like you know something other people apparently do not, maybe you should know what you're talking about.

The fable has NOTHING to do with 'foolishness'. Like at all. It's about calling for help when you don't really need it just to see people come running. Eventually when you do really need help, nobody will come. Which has nothing even remotely to do with your issue here.

Perhaps if people repeatedly give you wrong numbers or try to get rid of you, YOU'RE the problem? Maybe they just don't want to talk to you. They're not lying to you to get a reaction out of you for lols, they just don't want to give you the real phone number or information because they don't want you involved...

I would do the exact same thing. He deserved what he got. Can't wait to see 2.0 of that messed up face when they throw him in jail and the other prisoners find out what he did.

I kind of feel ya here, man. I've been with my boyfriend for 7 years this October, and it drives me totally nuts when I see people I know getting engaged after being together a year or less.

One girl I know got pregnant by one guy, and less than a year after the kid was born was engaged to a whole new dude and they have a house and everything. It kind of feels like "You're an idiot, why are you getting the things I want and not me", but then you have to sit back and realize, they're IDIOTS. People with no money and no stability having kids and getting married? Recipe for disaster. Might look peachy but it probably isn't.

You want to get going down a crap path? Get married too quickly (and perhaps eventually divorced) and start popping out kids you can't afford (or paying child support you can't afford). Love doesn't pay the bills. He isn't gonna be so happy when he's scrimping by every paycheck because diapers come before beer and a good time.

I thought the first one was okay. Just your run-of-the-mill cheap horror movie. I kind of have a thing against dolls though. Chucky is okay because he's cartoonish, but after watching Dead Silence I can't stand anything to do with dolls or dummies. I'll probably watch it though.

I don't own my own home, but I find property taxes stupid. Oh, you own this house and piece of land? Great, now that you've paid for it and own it, let's charge you a tax for living on the land you own!

I think it's also part of the reason why housing prices are going up. The government says your house is worth 300k instead of the more likely 215k that you'd get if you sold it, to benefit them getting more money from you in tax season. Meanwhile your house is a crumbling piece of shit that has had no updates in 20 years.

And apartment buildings are becoming more in-demand and popping up wherever they can find space because nobody can afford a house, so rent goes up to cover that.

It's dumb. Once you own something, you shouldn't be continually taxed on it.
