@wowcabbage What are you talking about? The Copyright Modernization Act. Bill C-11 in Canada will make it illegal to break digital locks, which would make copying music from a CD to your iPod a crime among other things. Our country isn't immune from corporate pressure.
@rezarazor I totally disagree. Gameplay and story are first and foremost. Graphics are a great added benefit but a game does not lose 50% of its appeal by having low end graphics. Great games can survive on gameplay and story alone. A game with incredible high end graphics that utilizes the potential of the latest technology is nothing more than a tech demo if it doesn't have good story and gameplay. You are right about Crysis. It is a great game not only because of it's story and gameplay but also because of its excellent graphics. Not sure why you single out Crysis 1 on this. Personally I felt Crysis 2 looked and handled better. Anyways, if you had to pick one that could be neglected, surely you wouldn't pick gameplay/story in favor of great graphics would you? I hope not. Because we've seen what happens when developers decide eye catching visuals are more important for stimulating the majority of customers. It's called Hollywood.
