I played through the demo a few times, and I'm happy with what I saw.

I'm running a p4 2.8 oc'ed to 3.2, 1.5 gigs of ram, 7800gs AGP (420/1200), and a X-fi Extreme Music. For the graphical quality, I'm very happy with the performance I got, 25-35 fps with the settings way too high for my rig, all highs save shadows:) . I was hoping to eek by with low-med settings, but now medium is looking good. The biggest fps killer I found was a high resolution setting.

The combat didn't blow me away, though it isn't bad by any means. Music and most sound effects were top shelf. I'm hoping for a good variety of enemies, since if the majority behave in the manner the demo mobs did, it might be an issue.

The voice acting had some highlights andannoyances,such as the repeating phrases to do with fallen allies or puzzle cues.

I'm looking forward to the gameafter the demo.

I'd suggest branching out into other genres of games. Maybe try Medieval 2 or civ 4, perhaps a single player rpg.

The other option is to take a short break from gaming, that can help a ton.

At the moment I"m playing Madden 08, having just finished Bioshock. I have Medieval 2 installed, and will almost certainly be picking up the expansion. Other titles I have loaded and ready to play are Mafia, Freespace 2 SCP,Civ 4 with a few total conversions, Dark Messiah,and BF2 with the Project Reality Mod. It's all about variety for me, one can only play so many fps's before fatigue sets in.

The first time through the hotel in Bloodlines was good stuff. You know the level designer did an excellent job when you're scared even though you're playing an undead character of some serious power 8+).

I think the hospital creeped me out a bit more....

Psychonauts and Bloodlines.

VTM Bloodlines has to have some of the best characters and voice work in any game to date.

 Lots of bugs and performance issues, lackluster combat,and one of my all-time favorite games!

 I've played through it several times, seems I re-install it every few months.

Bloodlines has some of the best voice-acting,character development,atmosphere,and side quests ever. I can still remember most characters vividly,good good stuff.

 It could have easily been one of the all-time greats with a good deal of polish and some re-worked mechanics,as it stands, it's still awesome!
