They should do an HD/PS4 version of Crysis 3. I'd hit that.

I would like to know where they got those 48%/52% numbers. Are we talking about all games, including casual or mobile games? If so, that stat doesn't belong in this particular discussion. There are millions of people that play candy crush or temple run but wouldn't go near a AAA action title like Assassins Creed. No doubt there are likely more girl gamers as a percentage than are in my peer group (2 out of 20ish), but that close to 50/50? I'm not sold.

What is this? Crappy graphics, temple runner 3d, with QTE? You move so fast it's not like you can utilize the Oculus' head tracking and the graphics are bad enough you don't get any immersion. As a $5-$10 PC game sure, it could be fun. As a feature title for Oculus Rift? Please nope.

I'm hoping this boring crab boss at the beginning is just a low level, boring mission. If you have to fight the same bosses (crab tanks) over and over, just with more HP I won't be happy. It would be awesome if they did boss fights like taking down the scarabs in Halo 2/3. I swear that battle where you take a bunch of tanks in vs a horde of enemy tanks and two scarabs was one of the most epic battles from any FPS I can remember. Not to mention later on when you got the Hornets and attacked from the air.

@Banefire76 Right? He didn't play the encounter strategically, taking out the legs and then moving up close and hitting it in the sweet spot when it is down. Says it took too long... pssh. There is some merit to his argument, the fight does take time (just as much as the last boss). However, watching him shoot the non-crit parts of the mech in the video while their voice over called it a bullet sponge was a total facepalm moment.

You didn't do a very good job of selling the "Facebook Has Proven its Ability to Grow Businesses" by using a service that everyone was already using on FB to post their pictures before. It's like saying a hamburger joint did a great job at getting more customers to eat fries, so they should be able to increase the business of a lasagna company.

That being said, you did have some good points. They needed the capital, and if FB is as "open software development" as you said then cool. This seems to be more of one of those wait and see kind of things. If they had been bought out by EA or MadCatz then it would be a much darker horizon for Oculus VR.

I just hope that there aren't too many competitors such that the market becomes saturated with sub-par clones and the tech gets dismissed as not ready again. We have had a couple trial runs with VR (think Virtual Boy) but haven't had much success getting it really off the ground. Hopefully some great games and such come out to make the experience truly novel and it doesn't die like 3D gaming did.

@Zatto-1 If you don't want drm in your games then f2p is your only option.

Get rid of mini-maps? GTFO! Mini-maps are a necessity. Using good headphones is one thing, but is only good if they are close enough that you can hear them.

Do you guys use Airburst much? What's the overall opinion on use of it? I can get tons of kills with it, but it almost feels cheap.
