The PlayStation 3 and Xbox One go head-to-head when both consoles launch in November.

Yep I know when you see The Last of Us and Beyond Two Souls you would think PS3 is next gen but it should be PS4 of course. But then still the sentence would be false because they only go head to head in 13 countries. The PS4 will be available in 32 countries, that's 19 countries where PS4 has no competition what so ever.

On topic: EA loves money and are making games, MS has almost no quality game developers so they buy them for release of their console.

For me Sony is filling in the blanks on the console that MS don't seem to care for. There are many multi platform shooters, sport games, open world games etc. But there are not a lot of games like Flower, Journey, Rain, LBP, Rachet and Clank or Heavy Rain. There are almost no good horror games and Sony's Naughty Dog brought us The Last of Us. Tomb Raider games where dead in the water and they came with Uncharted going above and beyond. Many of these games have high budgets and get the development time to shine that no other company is willing to do.
MS exclusives expend on shooters with Halo, Gears and now Titanfall and I don't feel they add anything. The best exclusive they had was Mass Effect but those games came eventually to PS3.

I think a vision is the most imported thing you can have. Take Walt Disney's vision. What if he changed everything that people told him. No feature length animation films, no theme parks. Take Steve Jobs vision with Apple. A vision is how every decision is made and that vision supports a believe that what you have is awesome.
Sony's vision was clear and consistent. They learned a hard lesson and their vision is to make the best game console for developers and gamers.
I just don't know what MS's vision is anymore. They couldn't explain even to their fans why their vision and their decisions where great. And after many 180's we are left with an expensive console with worse tec and a gimmicky control device no one wants. I would have had more respect for MS if they stayed with their vision and took the time to explain it then what they are doing now.

The Xbone only comes out in 13 countries. Mine little country was kicked from the list and the reactions aren't positive. There are so many multi platform games coming to next gen and lot's of gamers really want to play it on a next gen console. When that console didn't ruin it's own reputation day one and is 100 euro cheaper it's an easy choice. Yes the console will sell out but if 1 or 2 of your friends already got one I'm sure the rest will follow. MS has lost.

Wow, one whole free game. That's amazing. It's almost as good as Sony's Plus giving away 12 free games each year to play on my PS4 and 64 games to play on PS3 and Vita. That's a total of 76 free games per year to play. Wow, one free game doesn't sound very exiting if you are not an idiot.

I worked to long in ICT to like, let alone love, MS. I hate their products, their systems and how they screw customers. But I like it when one company can't rule them all. I like it when there is competition. It makes them all work extra hard for us, the consumers.
I like my PS3 and I'll like my PS4 but without MS, Sony won't need to work so hard. They won't let me play awesome games for free, try to give me the best hardware for the cheapest price and has to most exclusive studios pumping out one awesome game after the other. So please MS get your shit together.

I don't believe the reasons MS is telling us. Localisation was never an issue with MS products and for Kinect there has never been a Dutch language or Flemish or any other of the 8 language's from the countries that are scratched from the list.
A while back, on Neogaf, there was a comment that the chip production had huge problems. I think they just can't produce enough of these consoles to serve enough countries. A lot of peep over here are very angry with MS and announced to go and by a PS4.

It's a great deal if it's coming to the US.
You can easily slam a terabyte HD in there and you are good to go.

Wow, that sounds amazing, we can play a game and then go to watch tv. That is amazing, I could never do that before. Thank you MS for giving me that world shattering news. I heard you can even watch blu ray movies now on a console, that is so new, if you never had a PS3...

I'm wondering if we get to play the games now on the real console or the pimped up PC's they had under the stands during E3.
And no TV thing? Yeh I already thought that much. It will be funny to watch how they 180 everything they said at E3 and still convince the public it's the exact vision they had and that it's still a great console.lol
