I already had the thought MS didn't see the birth of the Xbone coming. It was just there. Even the name is like a last minute thing. Then they had to produce the thing and god knows why because people would like to be able to buy this piece of crap. And they started to late building them so, beside 13 (lucky?) countries, the rest of the world including the 8 countries that where promised a Xbone, don't get it. Why, didn't enough kids showed up in your sweat shop? And now their amazing Kinect thing, that can see what way your wang is hanging for no apparent reason, doesn't has it's software ready. For god sake you had 8 years to see this next gen thing coming, when did you prepare for it, yesterday afternoon?

Serious MS, you are the laughingstock of the games industry. Sony needs a good competitor so lets all support Nintendo, they at least haven't got their head up their ass.

@JaCkk210 That is great but are those virtual servers or real servers and what are the capacity of these servers? It are claims like spending millions on research for their controller and 300k servers and the power of the cloud that make MS laughable.

@FCT-Steve-O @SaintSereph Can I lure you in with DriveClub that will have a Plus edition for free when you have Plus and in addition another new free game every month to play). GT will eventually come to PS4 and the system is 100 dollars cheaper. And you will be able to compete online with other players from 23 countries in stead of 13.

@Vodoo Well, this time there is digital downloads so I don't think there will be any short supplies of that.

In the Netherlands, Belgium and some other countries you are not able to buy any xboner or games for that system. Fortunately all the shelf space can go to the awesome PS4 and it's games (although the PS4's are already sold out everywhere).

Not sure what Bungie smoked but they sure are ambitious. I'm also sure I haven't seen anything that looked remotely close to a story and that is what the franchises he talks about have in full. That's why people care for them. What I have seen from Bungie is shooting, shooting and more shooting.

So this guy is saying, after MS kicked our armed forces in the balls we are going to kick them in the teeth?
I've never bought a lot of EA games but I like some single player games like Dead Space 1 and 2 but with 3 you killed that franchise with you co op micro transaction shit. Great now I can look if the EA logo is on there and not buy it ever.

@voljin1987 @Tielo1 Yes there are many examples like Sanzaru Games that made HD version of Sly Cooper and got the change to make a completely (and awesome) new Sly Cooper game. I think Japan Studio can make whatever it want's and isn't a single ip studio and that is great to. But I feel studio's that have that are kind of forced to repeat their success over and over again. Like the Halo developer Bungie who eventually left MS. Imagine MS nurtured their creative urge to do something new, invest in expansion and they would have Destiny as a exclusive. Instead they are now multi platform and pretty much in bed with Sony and PlayStation 4 with exclusive content.

It's kind of funny the press is picking up on this now but Sony is doing this already on the PS3 for some time now. Take for instance Thatgamecompany that made Flow, Flower and Journey. Thru Sony's PUB fund they got to make these games and make a name for themselves. Now they go on to new things multi platform and Sony is ok with that. Games like Guacamelee, Papo & Yo, Joe Danger and Tales from Space: About a Blob are all results of that fund.
What is even better is that studios like Naughty Dog, Guerrilla games and Santa Monica Studios can expend and have second teams who can, after working for years on the same francize, go and work on new and creative games like The Last of Us while new fresh ambitious creators can fill their shoes and keep the brand fresh. I think Sony understands developers and consumers very well.

@lonesamurai1 So how much better are the graphics (you call it a gaming experience, I call it graphics) on a $ 399,- PC (that's including Windows whatever version is hot now)? Right.
Also you know that NVIDIA bought Ubisoft to support their cards and the latest cards the best. You know they do that to make you buy a new video card every 2 years otherwise your games look crap.
You also know that other games will be supported by other video card companies and will look (much) better on PC's carrying their cards like ATI. You know you are played right? You know you need to update to Window 8 because whatever crap MS bought game you want only runs on Windows 8 and DirectX 11.2 is exclusive for the platform. You know games form 5 or 6 years ago will be messed up because of that.
And in the end, all the money, optimizing and frustration for amazing textures and particle effects and lighting and chest hair waving in the wind kind of stuff for games you run around in and kill other gamers at break neck speed.
I've been a PC gamer for a very long time but now, for 7 years, I just have a console and a lot of international vacations I can take every year because I don't buy a new PC every 2 or 3 years.

@DaRq_MiNoS That is kind of a strange assumption and out of character because Sony, unlike MS, has been very clear about they stuff they wanted to talked about and wouldn't do something vague.
No, I think Sony, understanding the European market, didn't want to start loud and cheap, that would go well with the American audience but not the more sophisticated European audience. So they went for a simple and elegant presentation of the interface. I think it was very effective minor the idiot director who called the shots of course.
