so it's a good split and thats the only problem i've read about is the loading menus

Yes. And by that I mean, hitting triangle to pull up your inventory/status menu has a brief pause... and that's an issue that's present among all the SNES FF games brought to PSX.

It's a good split, though not half as good as the FF Anthologies split (FF5 and FF6). The only thing that's an issue with these splits are the speed of loading between menu and gameplay.

So I just got Braid, but I can't get the entire game screen to show up. I went under settings to adjust it, but I still can't get the four corners on screen. I thought adjusting my PC's screen rez would do the trick, but also nothing.

If someone could help me out it would be amazing since, as of now, the game is practically unplayable.

More than anything else, I'm impressed that they actually have a guy that can reliably and consistently beat Zelda 2... That game is really hard.

Saturn: Panzer Dragoon Saga or Legend of Oasis

Dreamcast: MDK 2 is awesome and deserves a rerelease for sure... but how great would an online enabled version of Power Stone 2 be?

I think the story is better in second opinion... but that's really not the focus of these games.

New Blood has more features and more to do. So I would recommend that if you had to go with one.

I agree, and you didn't even mention the RE games, F-Zero, Pikmin, and Eternal Darkness...

Of my favorite games from last generation, most are Gamecube exclusives (or atleast started that way...)

For my 6th birthday, I got two games, Super Mario Bros. 3 and the original Zelda.

Didn't hit me till years later, but you couldn't pay to have such a classic matchup given to you at the age of 6. That makes me say wow.

Why is crap like this in the times? This has nothing to do with anything newsworthy, and is really what boils down to personal taste.

It also sounds like this writer did no proper research and instead just settled with playing the handful of games his friend had. If he wanted games with meat on them he could've looked no further than Nintendo's big games (Zelda, Metroid, Mario, Smash, etc.), the artful 3rd party exclusives (Z+W, Boom Blox, Trauma Center, etc.), the great Wiiware efforts (world of goo, Lost Winds, Megaman), and the Multiplats/ports that actually work (Rock Band/GH, Okami, Madden). This is not to mention all the games coming out this year, including Madworld.

None of those games are rubish and while the Wii's library as a whole doesn't have as many AA-AAA titles as a 360, it's must haves can stand toe to toe with any console. The point is, to just brush off Wii is irresponsible especially for someone in the media.
