The rhyme scheme also makes the poem flow along very well, again showing that life just flows along gradually without the living realising it, until the time has passed. The only thing I find a bit odd is the separating between the two last stanzas. I would personally merge those two, as it would probably flow a bit better... but again, that's just my opinion, and as you said, poetry isn't supposed to be formal.

Okay, I know, I know I just double posted, but I have a good reason.

Yes indeed there will be the first ever double prestige day this Thursday November 15 (that's in the North American and European region, not Australia which is generally a day ahead of the rest of us). This means that any points earned over the course of the day will be worth double their value.

I urge you all to not miss out on this event that will be passed long before you even realize it.

If anyone has anymore ideas regarding Prestige Points or the union as a whole I ask that they contact me asap as I am always open to new ideas, events and so forth.

It is one thing to be proud of your accomplishments, but a completely different thing to think you are better than anyone else. I agree completely that people nowadays are not conservative enough. In the ideal world, this general's remarks will be taken properly in the original intend of boasting about yourself in the positive manner of being proud of ones own accomplishments and not being embarrassed by who you are. In today's world, this general's remarks are taken the wrong way. People are proud for no reason and are there to promote themselves for no good reason. What people tend to forget is that to promote something as sturdy and long lasting such as themselves, they need a sturdy base. I could keep going, but I'll find myself in a rant about how people change their opinions as often as the sun rises.

So that is my two cents .. again, wait does that make 4 cents? Can I have it back?

As always we are trying to improve the atmosphere that our union creates and this award is physical proof (well I guess as physical as it can get on the internet) of that fact. This award is meant to entice readers into being more of a community.

The award itself is called 'MVP for the month of ________'

It is awarded to the non-officer member of the WL that we (the officers, myself and you) deem as the most consistant and valuable asset we have. This person receives various prizes, some of which are secret while others include public reconition, prestige points, a fancy tag, placement on the officer to be list and increased input into various decision that are made.

Wait, how does everyone decide who one winner is? Well that my friends is simple we (the officers and myself) create a poll with a multitude of many people (okay maybe not that many) and allow you the everyday members of the union to choose who you feel is the most valuable asset to this union.

To get on this list the officers/myself look for various things that you do throughout the union. The most important of those 'things' is that you Respond to other's work. It is one thing to post your own, but it is much better to be actively interacting with other users through their work. However, that is not to say that posting your own work is bad, because if everyone just comments ... where will the work to comment on be?

Side note: The # of Prestige Points awarded for various contributions throughout the union will be modified in the next major update to represent the above statement.

I would like to apologize in advance for anyone who feels that they should win the award and would like to tell you all to not get discouraged if you do not win, just remember that I will never even have a shot at winning while you do ;).

Here I go out on a limb, my apologies if I am way off the intended reason for this poem;

The bottom line is that I have never within the confines of this union nor in my outside life come across a piece of poetry that through being indifferent stirs so much emotion even after being read time and time again. It seems as if the character doesn't seem to care anymore, it is as if he is beyond this world; he has left the stage.

I have to say that this is probably some of the best work I have seen from you, honestly, keep it up.

But it is not on the same level as you would promote yourself. I mean I have seen some great people, but I couldn't tell nowadays half of their names or most of what they did; memories fade. Now this quote isn't talking about the Rolling Stones or Neil Young or some big musican or actor or anything well known. It is talking about those who are just getting started in the world, those are the people who need to come out and say three little words, 'I Am Here'.

Those people are here and they need to take pride in what they are and will become. This quote is about standing out from the pack, being different and between proud. No one is able to tell it like it truly is except for the person most involved which in the case of your life is well, you.

This quote is essentially as I've said, getting out there and saying, 'I am here', but it is also more than that as it is a self-promotion idea, not only do you say that you are here, but 'look what I can do.'

That's my two cents ...
