If you liked the Departed, watch Infernal Affairs, since it was based off that movie. The story is a lot more cohesive and I found it easier to follow.

I doubt it... considering Circuit City is going out of business...

Although depends where you live. They closed a lot of stores in California but they still have some nationwide. They never really had a good selection though, even when they were up and running.

Yeah, well here is an idea: Do your own research. I don't mean to sound rude, but entrusting strangers to tell you what to get your girlfriend is pathetic. You obviously have a computer, so go look up "i love you gift in genera(?)" on DS. There is my advice. And to everybody in "genera", stop asking us what you should buy. Its annoying. You have a computer and internet access, so do research, because we are not telepathic and cannot tell exactly what games you like, let alone what your girlfriend likes. tktomo01

Isn't that what he's doing? He's on the internet asking questions because that's how he's doing the research. It's no different than asking a friend what games he can recommend. That's what forums are for and he could get some great advice. If anything, he should probably give us more details on her gaming habits if she has any, but from what I can tell, she might be just starting out so the suggestions that were given are very good.

I'd rather ask people who are enthusiasts about what to buy instead of googling "best DS game gift ideas" to see some lame top 10 list from some online store.

If these threads are coming up too often, suggest that they search through the forum to see the other threads that talk about what DS games to buy. No need to imply that they are pathetic. Let's play nice :)

Suggestions: Professor Layton is a good one, if she likes crosswords that could be another. Animal Crossing, Nintendogs, cute games that you can sink a lot of time into. It depends on her interests and whether she's a gamer or not. Tetris is another good puzzler, so I basically agree with most of the suggestions that were given.

I don't think I can go back. Because the airship automatically takes me to the tower.canary7

You don't have a save game before entering the tower? Ugh, that's what I hated about old RPGs, if you get stuck, it really sucks when you don't have multiple save files.

Wait, you said you're leveling around the tower? I'd walk to the chocobo forest and fly back to the cave.

[QUOTE="Sophia"]The DS remake is a lot harder. I haven't played through the DS one entirely, but I've played that game so many times I know where you're at. It's after the dark elf bit right? I used to level a ton in the caves, off those doors especially. That stuff is higher level than the forests around you. Otherwise if you're stuck in the tower, I'd just keep leveling in the tower but you risk running out of cabins/tents.canary7
Yes, that's where i'm SUPPOSED to be heading - to the tower, but I can't go there just yet, otherwise I would be creamed. For now i'm just level-grinding near the castle. All my party member are about Level 32ish. I have a long way to go before entering.

Level in the cave where you fought the dark elf, those enemies are harder and will give you more xp. I leveled off the doors, I went through and fought each one. (unless this has changed in this version)

There are shampoo for dogs you can get at the pet store. Using human shampoo dries out their skin so don't use it, and no window cleaner!

I think if you didn't take a bath for 8 years, you'd smell too. Depending on the type of dog and whether it's indoor or outdoor, sometimes hosing them off or having them play in a kiddy pool will work too. Brushing often also helps.

You should try LocoRoco and Patapon if you haven't. They're also really fun games which I didn't think too much of when I heard about it. There are a lot of great PSP games, you just have to look.

LocoRoco is awesome, I could play those ice levels all day. The second one is coming out soon in the US! The first one is totally worth checking out if you haven't already. If you like that kind of style, you might like Patapon, it's a completely different game but also really cool.
