There are shampoo for dogs you can get at the pet store. Using human shampoo dries out their skin so don't use it, and no window cleaner!

I think if you didn't take a bath for 8 years, you'd smell too. Depending on the type of dog and whether it's indoor or outdoor, sometimes hosing them off or having them play in a kiddy pool will work too. Brushing often also helps.

So my dog smells, and I am thinking of giving him a bath. He is 8 and this will be his first bath, and i think i will wash him with kool-aid or fried chicken. is this a good idea? if not, does anyone have any suggestions....Maybe window cleaner?fluffers623

Dog shampoo would work for dogs. Dump him in the bath, and if the dog`s not so big, the sink. Maybe washing it less than 8 years could be a solution.
