I hardly thought this was a flaw in the original. I prefer not having to babysit AI companions. I'd rather they be immune to enemy detection so long as I'm hidden. The Last of Us definitely doesn't deserve to be labeled as a game with bad AI. Relatively speaking, I thought it was well above average at the time. It isn't perfect, sure, but I don't see AI getting perfected anywhere in the near future.
@Terrorantula: Oh look, another loser who can't handle a main character not being a straight white male. Because anything else is "political". Get over yourself, people like you make gamers look like a bunch of alt-right morons.
With the success of GTA Online's microtransactions, I think it was pretty clear that Rockstar would never make SP DLC again. As much as it sucks for people who like actual quality content, it's just not nearly as profitable for them to put forth the time and effort on creating new SP content when they can just keep making lackluster updates to its online so people keep buying fake money with real money.
Then again, not all of their games can have a GTA Online. It will take weak microtransactions sales on games like RDR2 for there to even be a remote chance that they will ever consider SP DLC again.
@patsfan365: It's an estimated average... check out howlongtobeat.com. From user-submitted data, both games are right around 15 hours, on average, for a typical playthrough. Some people spend less, some spend more. With an average of 15 hours, I'd expect that most people would fall within about + or - 3 hours of that average.
