Are stories like these supposed to be heartwarming or something because all it reminds me of is how insanely expensive medical bills are (at least in America). I know this is for a pet and not a person, but it's even more messed up because it's like "ok Billy, unless someone comes up with hundreds of dollars we're gonna have let little Rufus here die". And if it's a person then treatment is an obligation and the bill is them and their family's burden. Then you see stories about a kid selling lemonade or whatever to fund their best friend's medical expenses and, again, it's presented as a heartwarming story when really it's fucked up that a kid is resorting to labor to try to cover expenses that shouldn't be that high in the first place.
This is just manipulative marketing to trick people that don't know any better and would assume you need an SD card with "Nintendo" on it for it to work with their Switch.
@Jesse363: Really late response to this, but whatever.
I said it's "mostly" harmless which is true compared to hard drugs and the perfectly legal alcohol and tobacco. Like any of these substances, weed can definitely be abused. But, at the very least, you aren't going to die from an overdose.
So, relax. I'm not glorifying it but I am definitely not vilifying it either. There is no good reason that it shouldn't be a legally controlled substance.
@doodoflife: Yeah if they're going to remove comments on a controversial topic then they should do that with all controversial topics. Better yet, don't remove comments at all. It's been this way for a while but this place might as well be called PoliticalSpot now and they're no better than any other far left or right media outlet that pushes a certain narrative.
