@chaosbrigade: Investing rarely does that either... most day traders and those who exclusively trade options end up losing money. The only time investing is a good source of income is when one already has a lot of money, then they can just let it sit with just about any stocks they want and watch their money grow with the market, as well as earn dividends.
@wtf_666: If I had invested in GameStop and was making a bunch of money right now I'd still think this was really stupid. It just goes to show that trading stocks has turned into a spectator sport. It's a game to a small minority, such as the folks at /r/wallstreetbets, that occasionally get lucky with bets such as this one. Good for them for being right for once but I'm sure that subreddit will soon be back to posts about people losing a bunch of money soon enough...
This is like a joke that has gone too far. GameStop is not a good investment no matter how you look at it. Yeah, some people are making a killing off of its stock right now but if you keep playing with the stock market, you're going to lose. Many of these average Joes feeling cocky with their big gains will probably do something stupid down the road that will wipe away their "earnings" and then some.
"sToP tAlKinG aBoUt PoLiTicS iN mY vIdYa GaMeS" say people who probably play war games or any of the probable majority of games that have some sort of political undertones. It's not that you don't like politics in video games, it's that you don't like certain representations in games that don't align with your narrow-minded viewpoints. Sure, I don't think a character's sexuality should be their entire personality but in most cases I don't see that happening. It just seems that way to some people because they piss themselves when it's "revealed" that a character is anything but straight because it makes them uncomfortable. That's it.
Very minor detail but Chinatown Wars was released on the DS and later on PSP, but never the 3DS. Ik you can play DS games on the 3DS but it's still incorrect to say it was "for" that system. Anyway, it's too bad there were never anymore handheld GTAs because Chinatown Wars was fantastic. The Vita had great potential for exclusive releases from big franchises but obviously the system was a flop and just not worth making exclusives for.
The MP40 in World at War is definitely my choice for most overpowered/hated gun in the franchise. It was pretty common to see almost everyone using one in any given match, especially for objective-based game modes.
A decent attempt to bring more attention to the leveling system that I'm sure most people, even trophy collectors, don't even look at. I've always liked the trophy system because platinums show how many games you've completed (in terms of trophies) at a quick glance. So I'm glad this "overhaul" is just focusing on the leveling and not doing anything to platinums or how they're earned.
