I love, love this game. This is the first game of the current gen (encompassing the XBone, PS4 and Wii U - all three I own) I can't stop playing or thinking about. This game will help launch the careers of future game developers, it is that good. My wife and I build levels for each other, challenging our Mario skills. Most of my levels I've created are puzzle centric, whereas my wife creates levels that require platform mastery. She's building one right as I write this and I dare not enter our entertainment room while she's designing, otherwise I'm going to get Xbox One and PS4 games thrown at me, lol.
@keichimorisato9: Let's be clear and straight to the point. I highly doubt the majority of pirates are going to go through the trouble to soft or hard mod their system to simply circumvent region locking. The cold hard truth is the majority are going that route to steal. No excuse can convince me otherwise.
I said it many times before and I'll say it again gaming is a luxury. You do not need it to exist. There are cheaper entertainment options that may entertain a person the same or even more than a video game. Perhaps I think differently than others. When I look at a video game, I don't only see a game...I see hundreds of work hours (if not thousands), creativity and vision. I see the people that devoted their lives in a project to create something.
For those using rhetoric that the cause of piracy is due to region locking (in this case), stop using that old excuse. The PSP was NOT region locked and as many here know, the PSP had (and still has) a large piracy rate. If you are going to be a pirate, at least be honest. You want free games. I am so tired of the B.S. excuses.
@barstoolblues: First of all, where is your information on the NX being "a bit" more powerful than the Wii U. The rumor stated right in this very article is that the NX will have "industry-leading chips". Stop spewing your own nonsense around.
@jdc336: I am calling B.S. on this. I have three Xbox 360 consoles and every single one got the RROD. I NEVER had to repurchase a new console because of that. Microsoft warrantied each console with free 2 day shipping back and forth. It may have taken a week or two between shipping it to Microsoft and receiving my consoles back, but they never charged me a dime - plus I got 3 total months of free XBL and my warranties were extended.
@bigballz77: You must be really out of touch with black culture if you think that's how the majority of black people talk and/or write. Seldom do I even hear anyone of any culture speak that way. However, it seems the inherent aspects of stereotypical perception still litter our consciousness.
Grizt00f is correct. Almost all video games feature a white male protagonist and I personally, would love to see more games feature more minorities in protagonist roles.
