All they had to do was keep the same award winning formula. I have played thousands of hours of both L4D games but this one sounds like they are going to introduce microtransactions. It does appear to me that they learned their lesson from Evolve. Most disappointing is that my favorite monster, the smoker, isn't in this game. I loved that crazy fool and his funny growls.

Where will this differ than the Steambox 'consoles'? What can they offer that Valve couldn't or rather, wouldn't to the mainstream gamer? A free game engine you say; will it be royalty free? I am all for competition in the gaming space but it takes a lot of capital to produce not only hardware but the total product ecosystem. There is a 75% chance this is vaporware, 24% crowdsource fodder and a 1% chance of coming to market and making an impact. Do you have what it takes Slighty Mad Studios?

These "thin and light" gaming laptops got to go. I won't even get started on the new Max Q laptops Nvidia and their partners are trying to shove into our faces. There are many good laptops out there that don't cost a lot that goes beyond what Razor has and then there are big boy Clevos with 1080 SLI and a DT 7700K CPU.

If you want something in between, that cost around the same as this Razor and still can be carried around, I recommend the MSI 16L13 aka Tornado F5/EVOC 16L1080, sold by Eurocom/HIDevolution. This is my Firestrike score...20,193 http://www.3dmark.com/fs/13113943 And yes, that's from a laptop....

Gamespot, this should be the next gaming laptop you review. It's the most powerful 15'' laptop in the world.

@metallinatus: Consider that not a single GPU (or even dual GPU's in SLI - I have two Asus 1080 OC GPU's) can run all titles at 4K/60FPS consistently, I don't think anyone truly believed MS earlier statements about the Xbox 1X. On the PC side, we are still at least two GPU generations away from having a single GPU that can run games at 4K/60FPS.

If consoles are adopting a smaller refresh cycle, we likely won't see "true" 4K/60FPS until the successor of the X1X or until Sony drops the PS5 Pro. With that said, I still commend MS on launching a console that is capable of running some titles at 4K/60FPS for less than a 1080.

@SpanishFly69:

So there aren't any white terrorists? Last time I checked, terrorism wasn't assigned a particular color or even faith. Look beyond mainstream media.

@Eldgrim: The black woman isn't a monkey. And 'gamers' like you, are the reason why we can't have multi-cultured games.

@ballashotcaller: I agree and I applaud Microsoft for producing a machine that is capable at a great price. I am a gamer first and I hold no allegiance to any one company. I am all for competition. Sony came out this generation and punched Microsoft right in the face. For all intents and purposes, Sony won the first chapter of this gen...but Microsoft got back up. These are exciting times to be a gamer.

@lionheartssj1: I almost went with a single 1080 TI, especially on how bad SLI support can be, but 1080 SLI trumps it in games that have good SLI support. And you are right, a 4K machine for $500 is a good investment if you solely want to play games.

Reality check. I don't believe the majority of you have a PC capable of playing these multi-platform titles in 4K. I have a rig with a 6850k, 1080's SLI and it can struggle with certain games in 4K (I'm looking at you Ghost Recon). If you don't see the value of the Xbox One X, that's fine but don't act like the Xbox One X doesn't help usher in the era of native 4K gaming on consoles (even if I don't believe it will be 60+ FPS).
