I'll admit that the players' faces in NBA 2K8 are not as good looking as in NBA Live 08, but I would gladly trade graphics for the amazing gameplay of 2K8. For the graphic punks, enjoy 08, but if you want real SIM B-BALL, play 2K8.

I have nothing against DLC in terms of having extra content DOWN the road/later in the lifecycle of a game; actual content that enhances the replay value of that $50 to $60 game I purchased. Gamers have a right to be really angry at this newfound console gimmick. Video game titles are becoming highly expensive ($10 more), yet we are getting less content simply because developers now have the option to "nickel and dime" us. I do believe DLC is here to stay on consoles, but we need some type of standard of what should be valued DLC and what is basically crap for $2 bucks. One main option is to "vote" with your dollars, do not buy games from companies that are known for releasing "half-a**" games with release day DLC. *Electronic Arts I'm looking at you!" Another way is to own more than one platform, buy the game on the platform which doesn't have the option of DLC...that way you will get the content all in one purchase...only drawback on this way...no ways of getting any "extra" juice out of your games down the road.
