@kprice123 I really hope you just worded that slightly weirdly and arent seriously suggesting that PC gamers buy a console and attach a mouse and keyboard to it. I'm assuming you mean that Bungie could just take the PS4 or Xbox build and port it to PC... that's what you meant right?
@udubdawgz this is exactly why I've gone back to PC gaming. people lament the cost of running a gaming PC but you actually ofset eventually with the low cost of games. A day of release game downloaded on PC costs about £35-39 If I get it for my playstation it costs me around £50!
Interestingly a similar thing is happening in Hollywood at the moment. There is no middle ground . You either get High end blockbusters or low budget indie flicks. Film-makers are finding it increasingly difficult to get their projects funded as its not a blockbuster or an indie and so are looking for alternative mediums... which many people are saying is the reason TV is having a renaissance a the moment with a lot of top quality drama.
I think the main problem in both these cases is the producers/studios failure to understand their audience and deem it necessary to pitch the project at everyone. there seems to be a real focus in gaming on getting casual gamers sales and casual gamers will only buy games if they're shiny and have a high rating...
@rhymesmatter the novels are set before the events in the Witcher and the Witcher 2. In fact only the first novel and a collection of short stories have actually been translated into English meaning that the games are a MASSIVE spoiler if you intend to read the books too.
@TaoranPrince cuz they're one of the only dev's who seem to prioritise the players experience over the players wallet and wont buckle to publisher pressure to do so
@rosen22 Yes but when you see the same argument's on comment section of every anticipated game. It gets a little old. A lot of these comments are often made by people who have yet to play the game and do not take into account the fact that a review is just the opinion of an expert in the field. you may disagree with the opinion of the reviewer, Often reviewers do not agree with each other, Heck I know that even GS staff don't always agree with each other's reviews. This wasn't aimed at you btw, at least you're arguing your point with some eloquence.
