Do you think we'll ever see a time when main characters dont sound like they had gravel for breakfast?
i dont mind the whole cell shading thing that every one else is complaining about. depends for me on the character, story and of course the all important gameplay. we'll see what the reviews have to say then ill wait for what everyone whos playing it thinks.
On the fence about this one. From this trailer I can see how it might be appealing but come release date if they haven't updated the game a bit to have it looking from some game you can get from a bargain bin to a game you'd drop $50-$60 on than those reviews are gonna tank this thing.
Could be a good game...if it weren't for the ugly cartoonish graphics.I don't know why more and more developers adopt those...
I really like the concept behind this game, I'm just worried it's not going to be fun due to bad AI, controls, graphical problems, etc. I hope Kalypso pulls it off.
Looks very VERY interesting... I hope they could keep the story coherent, vampire vs vampire is getting so old, it's always the same damm story.
The gameplay reminds me of vampire Bloodlines, while the music reminds me of the Deus Ex series. Damn, how could it be better than that? Totally looking forward to this.
I was kinda jazzed about this one until this trailer. The cell shading thing totally kills it for me.
I was really into this game uptill the point it said 350 and pc only... Oh well its good to se Kalypso is still around I have enjoyed alot of there games.
It's just me or the music that start at 0:50 sounds a lot like a slow paced version of the main titles music from the original Deus Ex?
Has been waiting for more about this ever since it was announced last year on Gamescom.
I love stealth games, and there are way too few good ones out there, so I have high hopes for this one.
Love the artstyle. And stealth gameplay mixed with supernatural abilites seems cool. A little twist to the standard stealth gameplay we're used to.
I just hope it will be better than Vampire the Masquerade (Bloodlines). I don't care if it can compete with other stealth action games. You're making a vampire game... make a really good vampy game.
@gabrielstilistu Speak for yourself.
@Dawn_oF_Doom I would second your sentiment, with the caveat that this 'really good vampy game' should have stealth mechanics that can at least put up a good show in comparison to the big kids on that block. I did some looking around for further informatin, and found this:
Now, I'm sure quite a few will enjoy playing the proverbial apex predator; however, seeing as they want to make stealth a major feature, I wonder if a minimal-kill playthrough would be possible.
On the matter of further video releases: it would be wise of RealmForge to take cues from the abovementioned big kids and their 'one level, multiple approaches' presentations.
