Hard to say. I would say Skyrim: Complete Edition, but that type of game eventually gets boring even for guys like me who live off of them.

Honestly, I'd probably pick a game like the original NES version of Tetris (my favorite version), or Pac-Man, or a classic arcade game that is very, VERY difficult to master. Possibly Forza Motorsport if I had another Xbox, since there is a lot to do in those games and they never really end; not really in sports games but I love racers.

On games with endings, it would have to be Super Metroid, which I consider to be in the top 3 best games ever made. You can replay that game again, and again, and again and it never gets old. There is always some fun in finding a more efficient way to run through the game, or taking out bosses faster, or challenging yourself with a low item run.

Matter of fact, now that I'm basically done with Grand Theft Auto V I'm gonna dig Super Metroid back out.

I'm going to Gamestop tomorrow to pick up a cheap game from their used booth. I'm curious, should I buy Prey or GRAW? Prey is 9.99 while GRAW is 14.99 so the price isn't a concern. It's mainly how long each game will last in their single player content, since I don't get to play online very much until I go to my mother's house.

So, which game do you recommend?

I'm an Xbox-360 fan, but I have no problem with Mass Effect and its sequel being ported to the PS3. It means more people get to experience a great game.

You have to remember that you cannot judge consoles and PCs in the same sense. A console is designed to play games; it does not have to run a complex operating system in the background. I think the 360's RAM would suffice for Crysis.

The video card is where I'm worried. The 360's card is a generation behind the current ATIs (well, technically it's a bridge generation card) and nVidia's but I believe the game could run on high settings if it was coded well.

I'm curious. Could Crysis run on the 360 and the Playstation 3? It's a demanding game. You need a minimum of 2 gigs of RAM, a GeForce 7800, and a high-end Pentium 4 (or comparable dual core processor, which are more powerful than the Pentium 4s without as much true clock speed) to run the game with decent performance with graphics that even relate to those on the box. Running at max... SLI 8800GTXs, 3 gigs of RAM, and a high-end dual core CPU.

Granted, it's a PC game. Console games never need to requirements of PC games because the hardware is specialized just to play games. I'm wondering if Crysis could run on the new consoles. Anybody think it could?

Mass Effect is a phenominal game for the most part. The story is wonderful, the voice-acting is off the charts good (most video games have sucky acting; this one rocks), and the characters are just as memorable as those in a Final Fantasy game. Bioware really outdone itself. Also, the graphics are great. It's not the best looking Unreal 3.0 game (that goes to Unreal Tournament 2007 or Gears of War) but it's certainly one of the 360's best looking games. And most importantly, the battle system is fun and interesting; it plays a more like GRAW than Gears. You have to stop and think, otherwise you die, especially in the harder difficulties.

However, it isn't perfect. For one, the game's framerate is... Incosistant, which is a shame considering this game's production values elsewhere. Anytime you get into a major fight with more than 2 enemies the game starts to slow down. When you have Biotics and Techs flying, it gets even worse, going to a snail's pace at times. Number two, the load times, while not horrible, are noticible. It also seems to say "loading" at the stupidest times. Number three, the planetary exploration isn't fleshed out like the game claims; there really isn't much to do on these worlds. Finally, the texture pop-in is among the worst I've seen in any 360 game. Only Bioshock ranks up there with it, but at least Bioshock's dark atmosphere kinda hid the pop-in. Pop-in is a major problem for Unreal 3.0 games that I hope is fixed one day.

I have had a 360 since 2006 (got my Pro Christmas 06, and I bought an Elite for Christmas 07) and I want to flesh out my collection with older, budge 360 titles. I'll list my current titles to give you guys an idea of what I like.

1. Gears of War

2. Dead or Alive 4

3. Mass Effect

4. Halo 3

5. Bioshock

I have borrowed and beat these games...

1. Call of Duty 4

2. Oblivion (didn't really care for it in the end; it was way too big)

3. Guitar Hero III

I'm not too picky. I prefer shooters, tactical shooters, or RPGs. I'm interested in GRAW. I want GRAW2, but it's still too high. I'm looking for 15 dollars or less, perhaps 20. Give me some suggestions here lol. Thanks. :)

It was a great game, and it wins my "Game of the Year Award" for 2007. Call of Duty 4 and Mass Effect are close, though.

Wow, you hated Gears. I could understand you not liking Gears (I know alot of people who don't like Gears; I loved it, but alot of people felt it was way overrated) but hating it? It's a great game.

The only problem I have with Gears is the close range combat is trash (they totally botched it), it's glitchy at some points, and texture pop-in is bad, although not as bad as Bioshock or Mass Effect. All Unreal 3 games have terrible pop-in for some reason.

You hated Ninja Gaiden? I don't have black, I have an original hard copy of the original version for Xbox. Ya know, the 2004 edition lol. Bought it September of that year. I love Ninja Gaiden. Fact, I'm buying 2 the day it comes out.

The difficulty isn't that bad honestly. You have Black, which has superior controls the version I have and I came out alright. Keep playing the game, you'll like the last few levels.
