I bought it release day, played for 2 hours and my 360 died. I finally started playing it again about 2 weeks ago and finished it last Tuesday or so. It was truly a great game. I may go back someday to play through on the hard difficulty to get the 2 achievements for that.
it's probably the most important game of this generation, for reasons the average gamer probably doesn't realize.wreak
Agreed. It's SO much more than just a FPS. It's an intellectuals dream come true with it's Ayn Rand inspired setting and questions. The moral choices you have to make in the game is something that I've never seen before.
I hope it doesn't get written off as just another pretty FPS with cool atmosphere. It's so much more than that.
Yeah it's a really great game. Currently I'm playing it for my friend so he can get achievements for him (I know he's being lazy, but Bioshock is fun so I don't care).
I'll probably only get 850/1100 or 900/1100, though.
I played the demo, and I found the whole RPG fusion with FPS was an awkward contrast. Anyone else feel like this?

Such is the future of the RPG, and it all started with a little game called Deus Ex. I personally like the mix. I'm not comparing Bioshock to Mass Effect, but ME is another game that does this very well.
