Absolutely. I've been playing since september, and have probably put more time into it than any other game. There's just something really rewarding and fun about the whole process. That said, some structured goals would be nice; it's why I'm looking forward to the Artifact's Mod.

Gabe did say that the next Half-life needs to scare. Who knows, maybe HL3 will deliver on that for you.

I actually just had that link problem a few minutes ago. I solved it by simply changing the url using tinyurl. Should work for images too, although you'll have to use the "insert image" tool I think.

Edit: Actually, in your case the better solution would be to rehost the image (imageshack, photobucket, whatever you prefer). You're supposed to do that anyway, and it'll give you a usable URL.

Well, if you're using Firefox feel free to use the Redirector addon. Just set the "updates" button to redirect to your updates page, and voila' everything's back to normal.

It's really cool to see everything up on the monitor, even if it's only a second display right now. Fingers crossed that when I disconnect my TV everything will still work properly.
