I've been buying DS games for a while now. I just finished Dragon Quest 6 and I want to take a break from rpg for now.
- Games I've bought so far...
- 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors
- Advance Wars: Dual Strike
- Disgaea DS
- Final Fantasy III
- Final Fantasy IV
- Dragon Quest IV,V, VI and IX
- Aliens Infestation
- Chrono Trigger
- Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
- Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
- The World Ends With You
I have finished all of them except Dragon Quest 9 and Disgaea since well they're long games! I'm now eyeing Okamiden but would like some other recommendations.
This is what I'm interested in buying at the moment
- Radiant Historia
- Final Fantast: The 4 Heroes of Light
- Pokemon Conquest
- Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2
- Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
- Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword
- Contact
- Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes
- Sid Miere's Civilization DS <--- any opinions? I love the Civilization series so I would like to have one on the go
Also there are THREE games I'm trying to find at a decent price
- Infinite Space
- The Dark Spire
- Suikoden: Tierkreis
Sure this may seem like a lot but it took me like a year to finish what I had previously bought! Also I do own a 3DS but I'm pretty much set there.
I'm most likely wrong regardless these guys are badass.
I'm just waiting for some localizations.

Etrian Odyssey IV is amazing. Doesn't play at all like Ni No Kuni but there is a demo on the eshop.
[QUOTE="Moloch121"]I just bought Dragon Quest IV, V, VI and IX actually a little while ago. I think so far Dragon Quest V is my favorite story wise since I like the whole family thing. DQVI has the best gameplay definitely haven't started IX yet though. I need to finish VI before moving on but Animal Crossing has taken over.turtlethetaffer
Damn, I still need IV to compelte my collection of main series games :(
But where the 2D trilogy (IV, V, VI) are more about being very traditional, DQIX makes tons of changes. Full 3D, long job mastery process (instead of having seperate levels for your character and their job, each job has 99 levels to master) and a hgue amount of post game content (infinite, for all intents and purposes). It's a slow paced but rewarding MMO- esque RPG.
But of the 2D ones I've played (V and VI) I think VI was my fav due to the job system and I liked the cast better (although the actual plot of V is superior).
Funny thing I bought all four of them months ago so I can play them slowly until Animal Crossing came out. Well I have yet to return to VI since well Animal Crossing happened. I plan on it real soon though!
