Called it after playing the Demo. The controls were horrible. I won't be picking this one up. I might get the Wii-U version whenever I get a Wii-U though.
@JustPlainLucas @Minishdriveby Oh, I'm gonna pick it up. It's just not a top priority and was never worth $40 to me. Her opinion didn't sway my opinion. I'll get it when it's reduced to $15 just like Kid Icarus. I have Fire Emblem in the meantime.
****ing dash controls were horrible when you were on a tiny bridge. There really should have been a jump button.
Paper Mario leads to frustration between the environmental puzzles, environmental stickers, and bosses that are just a giant puzzle. These puzzles are all fundamentally flawed, because you can experience puzzles (bosses and sticker) puzzles without the right equipment, causing you to backtrack 20 levels to hopefully find it. Environmental puzzles don't have any real logic to them either. I remember this one puzzle where you're suppose to turn off a hose. I get to the faucet and there is no way to determine if a sticker, jumping or hammering, or pulling the faucet off is the way to complete the objective. Of course the sticker crown was absolutely no help. Most of the time the "environmental puzzles" aren't even puzzles they're just puzzling because to progress you need to find a secret door or pathway hidden behind bushes.
