@Jedi4ce28 @Minishdriveby In the moment, it was amazing. In retrospect and on multiple playthroughs you start to see the smoke and mirrors.

When it comes to telltale and episodic content, I'd reserve judgement until the rest of the package came out and was bug free. Season 1 for me was a piece of shit because it was broken at its core; save files wouldn't carry over from episode to episode half the time, causing me to replay episodes 1-3 four times in order to make it to a episode 4 with my saved actions. After replaying the episodes so many times, you start to realize how often your "choice" doesn't really matter. Then it just becomes a boring walk down this line, and pick a dialogue game.

The game is meant to be played only once and never be touched again. A 6.0 sounds like a generous rating, especially depending on whether or not the game works after all episodes are released.

@Shadowdanc3r @Tiwill44 You heard right. Ni No Kuni was a good game, but nothing that deserved an award outside of art direction.

@zygany It doesn't just boil down to well that's the wonderful thing about opinions, some opinions are blatantly less informed and misguided. It's like saying Robert Frost's "The Road Not Taken" highlights the american value of individualism and paving your own path. Sure I can say that, and cite an example in the poem with no context, "Two roads diverged in a wood, and I — I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference." It doesn't change the fact that it's a wrong interpretation.

If Tom cannot understand why Joel saved Ellie instead of letting her die on an operating table then I think he is the one who has some moral ambiguity. I'm sure Tom would be willing to sacrifice his child if he was in the same situation; Ellie has become a surrogate child to Joel, but of course Tom thinks that Joel has no emotions and hates Ellie because he's a deplorable human being who just wants to save himself.

@Doom_HellKnight It's true. Call of Duty isn't really my kind of game, but I had a blast watching my best friend, his sister and my other friend play zombies this past weekend.

@mkdms14 7-8 is about what the game should get. The main wow factor is the 3D models; however, looking past this you have an extremely easy and short campaign with little post content. They are holding out once again for the 3rd version.

Also I never found myself extremely excited for Watch_Dogs, I just didn't see what everyone else saw I guess.
