Gone through all the posts, and some posters said that there are survivors in the ending, are there special requirements to see the other survivors? All i got was jeff, edi, and traynor getting off the ship at the end. Also with the relays, did i miss something mentioned in ME3 story line I assumed once the relays explodes that all planets in that galxy like in the arrival dlc get destroyed cause i dont get it. I did the synthesis ending and got the green explosions of the relays in the galaxy. Are we supposed to take it on blind faith that the explosions don't wipe out all life like it did in the Arrival DLC and the explosions are of a special nature, just wondering if it was mentioned in the game like an explanation? Also can someone explain to me the catalyst. I get the Citadel was the catalyst, so the crucible was needed in order to access the the AI within the catalyst? Is that correct. If thats the case if the AI for the reapers were on the citadel all along wouldn't the citadel been able to signal the reaper fleet what the alliances plans were all along and stopped it from the beginning? I dont know if any of this is correct just looking for some answers.

[QUOTE="carljohnson3456"]What Gears 2 did was try to damn hard. Gears 1 didnt hardly have a story but at least it was vague enough to not be horrible and cheesy. Dom's cutscene with his wife is one of the most painful and embarrassing cutscenes I've ever had to watch in gaming.spookykid143

I try my hardest to forget that scene but someone always reminds me.

do what i do and just :lol: it off. to this day i still you tube that bit just for hahas. Hell i even youtube the part in titanic when the ship is sinking the dude hits the railing and does flips into the water. Hillarious.

[QUOTE="Majordutch201"]

Let's hope so, gears of war 2 single player was a mess compared to the first one. I get it that they were trying to do something different with the maria story line, but I :lol: so hard at the scene where they found her. Seriously though Gears of War + love story/emotional content = Fail.

Bretter2200

Then hearing Dom scream about 2 minutes after "Hell yeah, got enough for all of you"!

Still doesn't change the fact that moment failed to capture an emotional response in some people. It still seems rather pointless. It works in some games like Final Fantasy, Mass Effect etc where you spend alot of time with a character when they die it'll affect you. Not in this instance since you only see doms wife in brief flashbacks so your not invested in the character. Did i care that maria died? No. Did i care that it affected dom so much? No, why should I since I only saw their interaction in a min of flashbacks.

all i can say is that if i knew years ago what i know now and could only own one system it would be the 360.

luckily i didn't have to choose.

Riverwolf007

I feel the same way but swap the consoles. This year alone all I've been using has been PC and PS3. Havent turned on the 360 since Reach. Gears 3 will be a welcome addition to my 360 library.

My ps3 is not even on and I can still hear it laughing at this thread.

Heirren

Not taking sides, but thank you Heirren, having a horrid day and this got me to chuckle.
