Here's a better comparison. Looking at that, you can really tell that there's not much difference at all.

Anyway, I have a question. Do you guys even use the thumbstick when playing? It's just that I've heard of some people only using the d-pad for movements and that seems uncomfortable. The only time I honestly use it is when I'm doing fatalities.

I've seen my friends using the analog sticks and I gave it a try quite a bit with other games street fighter, marvel vs capcom, and i always seem to have an easier time on the d pad. To each their own i guess. If anyone knows where i can get a heavy duty arcade stick compatible with ps3 and 360 please message me.

Not really.... I am a huge Socom fan. I still like Socom 4 alot but it has it's problems. With 3 or4 patches it will a GREAT game. Go RENT it and see.

Huge fan also, and somewhat agree, but for what its offering, and considering that theres no other game like it out in the market besides confrontation which was a messi'd give it an 8. Currently ranked 6 in the game, my one gripe though is the leveling of weapons having to constantly use that weapon to lvl it. I wish that your seconday would also get lvld for being in the load out. Other than that enjoying it. if anyone one posting in this thread is in a clan or holding tryouts PM currently looking for a clan 1.16 K/D ratio 66% win percentage.

sounds about right for the first one, the second onefelt alot shorter, at most maybe 25 hrs, would have been more if i depleted every planet for minerals but that just got tedious after a while.

Imo exclusives, there arealot for individual tastes, same reason i still hold on to my 360, gotta have halo and gears. With most multiplats being almost on par with each system only difference maker to me is how many people i know online are getting it for what console, and if there is any bonus content exclusive to a certain console.

For people who have the game PC, 360 or PS3 is there any validity to the claims of iffy AI? I'm really on the fence on getting the game right away or just waiting till theres a price drop.

Did mostly console stuff when i was younger till i hit 16 friend helped me build a decent pc to run diablo, havent looked back. Still get consoles but mainly for exclusives.

I dont see why not, it would be pretty sweet ps3 owners will be able to finally play gears which is a pretty good game, might even entice non multi console owners to pick up a 360 for the first two. But if i could chose whether it be on PS3 or PC, i would rather it be on PC, KB/M + Max setting on myAti5870 card would be sweet.

I'm with Giancar for now, but I'm leaning towards getting the Socom bundle, comes with the move and the gun piece. maybe get kz3 with it sooner or later. nothing on kinect interests me yet, wanna see how forza kinect is like before jumping in

to me it was okay, i preffered the second one because of the cameos of characters and organizations within the game the short lived STARS unit comes to mind. But over all i found the movies pretty meh.

I'm a little torn on the one hand it has the elements of a decent movie interesting characters etc, plot is made for hollywood movies demon hunter etc save the world blah blah blah. On the other hand as everyone has brought up so many game movies have been made and only a few that can be counted on one had are somewhat decent. Hoepfully this one will be one of those times. As long as it doesn't end up as bad as the max payne movie i'll be happy. That was just yikes.
