That's a great idea, but they should have done it two months earlier and promised it by Christmas.

Agreed and saying "buy it now receive it in up to 1 month" is as lame as the fabled Star Wars gift box.

Sorry, but you're ridiculous.

For a year people have been complaining they can't find Wii's, now Nintendo comes up with a way to guarantee you have one, and you find a reason to complain because you may have to wait a few weeks.

Would you rather wait a few weeks knowing it was guaranteed, or shop around not knowing if you'd find one?

People complain Nintendo isn't doing anything to ensure people who want Wii's get them, and now that they came up with a pretty decent idea to get Wiis in peoples hands, people complain.

Nintendo can't win because people like you just can't be satisfied ...

There are so many people out there who can't find Wii's, well apparantely on the Nintendo conference call today Reggie announced that on December 20th and 21st anyone who wants a Wii can purchase it at Gametop and is GUARANTEED delivery on it by the end of January.

Awesome idea, should shut alot of people up, the full article can be read here ...

[QUOTE="PlasmaBeam44"]It's a really lame feature there to just sqeeze more money out of you. Generic_Dude

It's actually really ingenius, since you could use them as like birthday presents for your friends or as tourney prizes. So, no it's not a lame feature, check mii out is a lame feature but not the gifting feature.

*sigh* Fanboys... think that everything Nintendo does is ingenious, even when it's clearly aimed to suck more money out of you for their overpriced VC system. Is it also ingenious that they have the prices arranged so you'll inevitably left with points on the account? No refunds, of course. Once in a while, I'd like to see an objective opinion around these boards... unfortunately, I think anyone who has one gets modded these days.

Yeah, how dare Nintendo release features that could possibly make them money?

You criticize the "Nintendo Fanboys" for loving everything Nintendo does. Well, you sound like a typical Nintendo hater, as I'm pretty sure you'd find a reason to criticize everything Nintendo does.

The Vii is the best video game console since the X-Mox 360, and it definitely looks more impressive than the bomb that was the Playmation 3.

Well, looks like next year we might be getting some downloadable content for Guitar Hero 3, as this linkstates ..

Sure, it would be a little late, but it would be a good way to make a game that may be collecting dust on my shelf by then gain some new life ...

Like any game, the novelty does wear off eventually.

I don't play it as much as I did when I first got it, but when I do play it it's still just as fun.

I've been more pre-occupied with SmackDown vs Raw and Super Mario Galaxy the last few weeks, but I have played GH occasionally and I think it's just as fun now as it was when I first snagged it.

Know what would kind of be cool? Having all of the ones mentioned in one game. There's creative ways they could do it, and it would probably be tons of fun.
