YAY!! The Marine Tac monocle is back!! That little detail sold me on the badassery of the Halo 1 marines, and those guys never felt the same in other games. I know its a small detail but hey, I'm an anal kind of guy! ;)

I actually agree, these days so many Devs reveal too much pre launch in order to market and build hype for their products. Of coarse you can simply not read about it, but that only ignores the problem.
There are better ways to market games I think, emotive teaser trailers and abstract viral campeigns come to mind as more elegant albeit more costly way to talk up a game over just blerting out this that and the other...
Every game that depicts an alien invasion is a rip off of H.G Wells and his War of the Worlds...screw it: every game that features any content of any kind what so ever is a rip off of ''tennis for two''...in fact anyone who breaths, eats and reproduces is an unoriginal rip-off of prehistoric carbon based lifeforms...:roll:
