Where did you get them from? Steam has a built in tool that lets you make ISO of the games.

He has said this multiable times in the past that consoles are the focus and it would be better on consoles. Carmack is just in damage control cause the game you know, was a horrible port. bug filled and a mess. Next headline;

Carmack: B'awww our PC sales where bad WE'LL BLAME PIRATES AND NOT THE FACT THAT OUR PORT SUCKED ASS.
