Well, Microsoft...just hand this one over to Sony and don't even bother releasing it. You know through market research that always online does not work. Plus you allow your creative director to speak out and be rude to your most trustful consumers. Just give up. Your not as bad as EA yet but your attitude is getting similar.
This is totally not true Ubisoft, what the gamers want and what the gamers need is totally different. If you release Assassin Creed every year you can guarantee that you will struggle for idea's and the IP popularity will just dive. If it can be achieved correctly then so be it, but as we have seen with Activision's CoD that although it is popular, it is not really offering anything new. Be careful Ubisoft, I wouldn't wanna cause a fight here.
That is really good news for the Darksiders IP, they will be able to use the Crytek engine so they can make it look even more amazing and Crytek is such a good publisher that it will be in safe hands.
Every year? What a way to kill a franchise... If you are going to rush them out, be prepared to get backlash from the gamers. I would like to see a new one released often of course, but at the expense of good gameplay? no thanks.
Look's a brilliant engine. Although I hope they actually make decent gameplay instead of just having fancy graphics. It's all well and good having a decent engine but you have to get the balance right. Dragon Age 2 was disappointing compared to the first one, so we will see.
