WOW! Texas the bastion of conservative ideals. Where the guv'ment stays outta our bus-e-ness. (Yet arrests an 18 year for stupid comments on facebook) Seriously people lets use a little context before we go around arresting people eh?
@Maverick6585 @GITY69 @wonzan I totally agree, but being that creepy and perverted are subjective terms bans on material deemed objectionable can be misused on material that the gov. finds objectionable, and suppressing of freedom of speech which I believe is a basic human right. Relegating it to the fringe is still acceptable outright banning is incompatible with democracy.
@Renunciation @tempertress I am quite sure there is a constitutional amendment protecting our rights to bear alien anal probing devices. Take that communist Australia!
@x-2tha-z How about I just start a counter revolution that is about 300 years late to return these dastardly colonies back to the rightful Queen! Whose with me?
@wonzan Care to expand on this point? Can you point out some specific instances where censorship by governmental authorities has been positive? Shouldn't people in free countries be able to decide for themselves what is acceptable media consumption in the privacy of their own homes? I can even understand blocks on advertising in certain areas or in certain ways, but certainly demanding changes or outright banning is counterproductive and says you don't trust your citizens to make educated choices for themselves.
Just my 2 cents but I think that having the weather as a tactical and strategic consideration that (as far as I know) is totally unique meaningful and innovative, deserves more credit than its getting. I mean aren't we as a general rule always asking for innovation? A new mechanic comes along (like breaking ice with weight and explosives!!!) and barely gets a mention in a solid game. To me warrants a score better than barely above mediocre. Again just my thoughts maybe it isn't such a big deal to others.
