I feel I got burned buying the PC version of this game. I have fond memories of D1 local co-op on the PS1. That was awesome I think this game would transition well to a similar experience. It really sucks I may have to buy it twice just so I can get some friends that would otherwise never play this game to have some fun with it. Hey Blizz why don't you give us PC players gamepad and local co-op in a patch? What's that? Oh right your money grubbing bastards!
@lordtidus12 @sumljivc Agreed I cant think of one time where the AI declared war on me where it wasnt in a position of superiority or at least close to equal. It even seems to account for alliances, i.e. many times me as a smaller nation will declare war on another smaller nation that has a powerful ally like the holy roman emperor. If I have a strong ally (france, england, russia) usually the emperor wont intervene. Same with large countries that hate you, stay in a strong enough network of alliances it seems the AI is smart enough not to risk it.
Too be fair to the devs the campaign does its best to simulate the reality of the Russian forces at the time. The Red army was (relative to it later strength) small and ill equipped. When war broke out far sooner than was expected they had one resource to draw upon until they could get their manufacturing ramped up and that was manpower.
While possibly not used in the best light it does illustrate this very well. Russia did have some very ruthless orders and there are many documented occurrences of peasant conscripts being forced into suicidal frontal assaults.

They really just need to drop the whole desmond stupidity and just make it strictly about historical tourism. The assassin vs. templars is meta story enough, you don't need to include that goober in every game and make us play as his dumbass in boring poorly written sequences. Just give us more of the good stuff.
@Chai_Tea I'm always happy to see competition. Steam is also my personal choice, but hopefully Origin and EA at large stick to their Gamer first talking points and turn things around. I think it would be a positive thing for the industry gamer's and comment boards. (I'm tired of the its cool to hate EA shit)
