@Amdisity I'm digging the Card Hunter beta, and it's a much different game than Hearthstone. Yes, both have their take on classes and deck building, but Hearthstone appears to play more like Magic and the existing WoW:TCG, where position of cards on the table doesn't really matter - it's more for aesthetics than game mechanics.

A battle in Card Hunter involves multiple heroes (each with their own deck), and a major part of the game is tactically moving the heroes around and affecting the grid-based game board that defines the combat area.

Lots of folks commenting "slow news day" and "stop stealing stories from TMZ".

Here's my (tongue-in-cheeck) theory on why this appeared on Gamespot: Mike Tyson's reference to "Tour of Duty" is actually a commentary on the intelligence level of many Call of Duty players. :D

I'm glad he knows that some (perhaps many) of us expect the film to suck. :P

Watching the trailer, it looks like this is a remake of the original Prince of Persia sequel released in 1993 (also called "Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame").

As someone who played PoP2 back in the day, the gameplay and locales displayed in the trailer look very similar to the 1993 release. (With upgraded graphics and animations, of course.)

@NorseLax09 The PS1 version may fetch a pretty penny, but we're talking about the PC version. FF VII has been released on PC a number of times.

The original PC release was a minimal port job - just enough to get the game working but nothing else. And that's how each subsequent release has been until last year's SquareEnix digital release (which added the Character Booster, achievements, and cloud saves (on SquEnix servers)).

The only new feature with the Steam release is "Steam achievements" - the cloud saves are still on SquEnix servers and still limited in how they synchronize.

All that said, I'm glad that the Steam release makes it easy for folks to check out this classic game.

$12 seems kinda steep, especially for a release with such little effort behind it.

Just checked - nope, the definition of "ownership" hasn't changed...

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/ownership

"the state, relation, or fact of being an owner"

@berserker66666 @edgecrusherO0 Ninja Scroll is an easy pick for "lots of violence".

If you're in the mood for a creepy, slow-burn horror series, I recommend "Another".

@berserker66666 @racerxgundam @victoria_wolf Yes-ish - it depends on your anime tastes and exposure.

When it came out, the "reluctant/petulant mecha hero" genre didn't exist. Perhaps the most important thing to remember, despite some impressive combat sequences, is that the show is really about relationships and discovering who you really are.

There's lots of discussion about the final two episodes. Personally, I think they successfully resolved the major story. Others - many others - disagree, however. :)

If the "Rebuild" movies were all complete and released, I'd recommend you go with those. (Only 1 & 2 are available in English. 3 has been released in Japan, and 4 is in production (albeit slowly and significantly delayed))
