Thanks once again for this side-by-side comparison across a number of major titles. For those of us who still haven't purchased either console (but probably will purchase one or the other once prices drop a little further), this is good info to have when we go shopping. There are a number of other factors that are more important than the quality of the images, namely which console's gaming library has more of the titles that I want to play. But with so many major titles being released on multiple platforms, the graphic comparison becomes more important. Based on this list, I could go with either console. While the Xbox 360 outperformed the PS3 on Madden, I don't care because I'm not a "Madden" guy. (or most any other sports game for that matter) Rainbow Six looks significantly better on Xbox 360 than PS3, but the differences in the other games are negligible to my gaming eye. I'm hoping for another side-by-side comparison in another year. Now that the programmers are hitting their stride on these two consoles, I want to see how the systems compare as future cross-platform games are (hopefully) finely tuned for each platform. (On a side note, it would be interesting to learn which console was the primary development environment for each game.)

Quote: ---- EQ2's 4th expansion? That's funny. Most other MMO's just call them "patches" or "updates" and are FREE. ---- Yes, just like Burning Crusade was free. Or Factions, Nightfall, or the upcoming Eye of the North will be free. Or DDO: Forsaken Lands. Or Zilart, Promathia, or Urhgan. The $40 for this EQ2 expansion also provides the original game and the previous three expansions (Desert of Flames, Kingdom of Sky, Echoes of Faydwer). As some one who skipped a couple expansions, I think this is a great value.

I have Civilization IV running on Vista Beta 2. Athlon 2800, 1GB Ram, GeForce 6800 (using nvidia's Vista drivers). Pirates! initially gave me the same error (disk not found) but the most current patch fixed the issue. Worth noting: Pirates! is on CD, while my Civ IV is on DVD. Perhaps an error with the copy protection on Firaxis games?
