The title of the article needs to be updated to reflect that actual update in the article. The original title sounds pretentious and ignorant, leading me to come here to read and comment. The actual meaning of the comment is pretty broad and generic, and does little to advance any real progress. Its like saying a movie needs to be good to be good.

Microsoft has never understood that people do strange things to play with their friends on a console. Taking it to places without internet to play local splitscreen, trying (and failing) to play DLC at another person's housel, etc. It's asinine to have this sort of feature.

The "new matchmaking" would benefit everyone greatly if only the reputation feature actually mattered. I've never met a single player in three years of playing who had LESS than 3 stars, so how can they say submitting reviews changes reputation? Every troll I've ever run across is sporting five stars, so if they actually make that system useful, I'll be most impressed.

Everyone wants to say that immature kids buy FPS games, but that's totally untrue. If a game has merit, it sells. If it doesn't, it goes the way of the dinosaur. Why is it so strange that the most popular genre also sells the most copies over and over? There's nothing wrong with the genre in any way shape or form. It's how it's used that makes it creative or not. The Bioshock games are a prime example of that. A shooter at their core, but Bioshock changed the way games tell a story for the better.

@JayQproductions @DarkSaber2k The professions in the first game were linked with what rewards you got in each class. They didn't change your initial loadout, but you could only have certain special items with certain professions. Regardless, progression was DEFINITELY in the game, no excuse for that to be there.

If there's one thing people should understand by now, it's that you can't gather around and burn anything people hold dear. It's a terrible idea from start to finish. They got scared and backed down then said they didn't "need" to because they accomplished their mission. Also, the "logistics" part meant they were just too lazy or afraid of backlash to actually go through with it.

Can we please stop with these pointless, word-vomiting articles about people bashing games and actually have some articles of people defending them instead? I like video games, which is why I come to Gamespot. I don't come to listen to know-it-all politicians bash them. I don't care anymore! Stop feeding us articles rehashing the same thing over and over again! Stop making articles that are just quotes of people blaming shootings on video games! I don't want to hear about the shooting any more because there is nothing that can be gleaned from connecting it to video games or any other form of entertainment any more! This is completely ridiculous now! Get back to covering some real news instead of spoon-feeding us crap about these people and their unfounded opinions! You offer nothing new each time one of these articles is submitted! It's almost like Gamespot wants us to hate video games along with them!

What does this guy do for entertainment? Aside from being a pain in America's collective rears, I mean. Even books have never been safe from the kind of "filth" he speaks of. Without a degree of violence you cannot have a story. Think of any story from any medium you've ever loved. There's a degree of violence, even if it's silly.

All this said, it really shouldn't surprise anybody anywhere that an organization promoting rifles is blaming everything but guns. It's simple, lobbyist logic and there shouldn't even be articles written for hypocrites like these people.

I can see all this being true, and I'm sure most of it is.However, those who want an option to play offline and lose whatever benefits of being connected to the other cities should be able to do so without penalty. Every game should have some form of offline mode at the very minimum (MMOs not withstanding).

The article is very confusing. Extraction is already in the game, it's just not on any playlists. Does this mean it's in a playlist now, or only in the Crimson pack playlist?
