The sad thing is the DNC suing Wikileaks is far more a threat to the freedom of the press than all of Trump's dumb tirades combined.

I can be perfectly serious. Social studies are notoriously HORRIBLE for their biases and methodology, even from the big names. Blind trust in a name isn't smart in the slightly, especially in the social 'sciences'. I haven't got time or inclination to dissect the report, but I'm also not stupid enough to just accept it as gospel given the track record of the field.

No, I really don't think you are being honest. You're either trolling or immensely silly for writing off an entire field because of random generalizations you've plucked out of thin air. I doubt you've even looked at the paper at all.

Oh, tell me more oh mind reader... please, you're the one who picked the fight, not me. I will wait till this paper is dissected by people far more knowledgeable on this matter than you or I before I give it any trust. You want to put blind trust into it, fine, but don't expect me to follow you.

@sonicare: I'm with you there. These political leaning social studies are often either deeply flawed or highly politically biased methodologically.

Ah yes, the deeply flawed and highly politically biased National Academy of the Sciences.

You can’t be serious. The only more widely cited journals out there over PNAS are Science and Nature. PNAS isn’t even a political journal it’s a science one.

By all means, please present some evidence and papers refuting this one.

I feel very similar. I was ready to quit the game in the early stages as I was simply frustrated and having no fun at all. I toughed it out, and it did get better, in that it became tolerable. It is oddly the most difficult Zelda I have played, and also by far the most easy. Most difficult in the early hours, total snooze fest beyond that.

There is just way to many flaws to this game for me to think it is good as either a Zelda title, or even just a game in general. For instance, I have heard a number of people say how it is such an improvement on the open world genera. I couldn't argue more strenuously against this claim. Everything it tries to do is done better in other titles.

I think in the end though, it just speaks to certain people, but not to me.

So, in other words, it is a useless designation. Gotcha. Thanks for the info. I will continue to ignore it as a valid critique with this new knowledge in mind.

@DerekLoffin: You can blame the Senate for delaying the legalization bill. That’s not Trudeau’s fault.

Doesn't matter who else is to blame, he still hasn't done it. Like I said, get back to me in 3 months when it is actually done, then you can claim he has done something.

I started completely indifferent to him. Now, I really don't like him. He hasn't gotten anything done. He is a pretty damn transparent panderer. He is just a general F'up. He reminds me a lot of Trump in that he seems the polar opposite which is equally bad. In fact, I think it might actually be worse.

While you are free to not like him but to say he hasn't gotten anything done is blatantly false. I mean, right off the top of my head there's the nation-wide marijuana legalization coming in less than three months time.

Yeah, get back to me in 3 months when it is actually done. That should have been done months ago and it still isn't.

There is absolutely NOTHING illogical about expecting the same rights to apply to everyone.

I understand perfectly well what he is saying and you're agreeing with his remarks which smack of separating humans based on arbitrary traits etc. This does not surprise me.

Apparently you don't understand since rights != outcome.

The only way an outcome is unequal is if you do not fight for social justice. Which is an excuse as I stated above for all the isms.

Apparent;y neither one of you understands that and you don't understand outcome in and of itself. Hiring someone on the bases of ethnic background is a conscious choice. Therefore when one fights against that and gets anti discrimination in place that alleviates that to a large degree. Not sure what you think you're saying but it's totally illogical.

Whatever you say there LJ. I'm sure you think it makes sense.
