[QUOTE="clyde46"]It seems that if a game doesn't sell 50 biglion copies on day one then its a failure.seanmcloughlin
Well SE said Tomb Raider failed to reach projections a month or so after release despite selling over 3 million retail copies. I mean if you're making a game and selling over 3 million isn't enough then there's something wrong with the way you make games
Agreed. Absolutely incredible that SE see 3M copies as a failure. They will go out of business in the near future if that is how they spend their money.Amazing soundtrack. I don't really know what is generally 'rated' or 'underrated' but my favourite soundtracks are FFVII: Crisis Core and probably Shadow of the ColossusNier

Cheers mate.
Congratulations. What course is it?
Reading this post made me check the of list courses I am going in to, then I realized that it was empty for some reason. Thankfully the people behind the university admissions decided to give everyone one extra day due to technical issues pm tje site (which can explain why the subject I put there was suddenly removed). So I re-added it. So thanks a million, you saved me a lot of trouble :)

Oh, that was lucky! Glad you sorted it out. I had some technical issues with my application, took a few more weeks to get it submitted >.>
It's an English Literature MA; I am either going into academia or journalism (preferably sports journalism) I think, so it makes sense for me.Â
One of my other applications which I am waiting to hear back from is a Viking and Anglo Saxon studies MA; sounds vague but it's a a literature course rather than general 'studies'. You get to study really old texts like Beowulf, study Viking mythology, learn to translate runes and there's a module on how these older texts influenced writers like Tolkien. It sounds quite interesting I think.
Which courses are the ones you're applying for?Â
If devs are electing to be console-centric, it's clearly because the latter is a more lucrative business. The only ones 'holding' PC gaming back are the devs, but like anybody else, they're there to make profit, not pander to people.
