I don´t think theres really any need for a modern-day AC with Watch Dogs coming out soon. Also agree with McDevitt that the main draw of the series is being able to explore and be a part of settings out of history which hardly any other games explore. I´d much rather want to play a new AC in yet another place and time period which I´ve never experienced in a game before, than play an AC game that takes place today (or after today), which is where/when 95% of other games are set already.

I´m pretty sure that poll is only about INCLUSION into the list, not the actual final list itself. There are 153 possible candidates for getting into the list, so people are obviously voting for those that they dont think have as much of a chance of getting in there. Also, the polls on the internet, so game designers and internet personalities have an unusually good chance of being elected.

I find it extremely ironic and just plain stupid that people are saying "yeah I hate EA, but they still make tons of great games and I won´t stop buying them". So wait, they make tons of great games that you like enough to play and even buy, so isn´t that a reason to LIKE the company? At least it makes no sense to HATE them. And yeah, I agree that Sim City was a fiasco, and there are tons of other companies that have better working conditions etc., but you cant blame them anymore for lacking originality. They used to be completely formulaic, making the same game every year, but these days they´re making tons of new IPs, and really putting the effort into them. Dead Space, Mirrors Edge, Bulletstorm and others were far from safe bets, and at least the games that actually are safe bets, like the Mass Effect sequels and yearly sports releases, are polished to such a degree that they hardly have much room for improvement (at least FIFA).

So yeah, I don´t think EA is an outstanding example of business practices, but they sure do make some good games and dont deserve to be called Worst Company in America

@Badgamewontsell I´m not a Castlevania fan myself, but I thought LoS was a great game generally, and as far as current gen 3d action games goes I preferred it to both GOW3 and DMC4. So IMO its far from garbage, though I can understand why some Castlevania fans might not like it..
