@gamingdevil800: MM have already made an FPS template, and I believe a few others. They were out in Early Access, and I´m pretty sure they´re planning on more, besides the glut of tutorials and "Masterclasses" they have in their already
@sam453oh: Well I´d much rather listen to these people, Kojima, Levine, Liman, and Sean Vanaman especially, than watch gameplay, so there. I can play great games whenever I want, but hearing what the minds behind some of the greatest of those games have to say about them isn´t something I get everyday..
@asnakeneverdies: True MGS and HL should definitely be there..or HL2 perhaps. But FFVII should definitely be there as well, it introduced a whole genre to sooo many people outside of Japan
@dodgers0022: Well if there is some sort of special bragging rights or reward for being first, then yeah thats a big incentive to want to get there ASAP, and if you do manage it you can always come back and smell the roses afterwards...or you know..discover an endless supply of new roses and smell them instead :P No reason to stop playing it just because you reach the center, personally I´m not going to stress out over reaching the center, I´ll probably try but maybe not. Either way, someone else will get there first even if I try to rush, and I´m sure whatevers in there will be spoiled to me along the way...so just gonna take it easy to start with.
@hystavito: Nope Sean Murray has never said he "intented" players to do anything specific whatsoever. Yes, its true that reaching the center of the galaxy is sort of the "main plot goal" if you can call it that, but he´s always said that the game is open for people to do whatever they wish, and that himself and the team are most excited to see just how people end up choosing to play the game. In fact, I specifically remember him saying in one interview that he expects (maybe hopes?) some players simply never to leave their starting planet, if the environment and activities there are interesting enough, and said something like "in a way I don´t think we´ve done our job properly if no player decides to stick around on his first planet".
