@VoidSECT Actually MGS2 is heavily influenced by The Rock. There are actually pieces in MGS2 that are practically lifted wholesale from it. And MGS3 has a lot of similarities to an 70s-80s spy flick, which makes Bond a fair comparison too.
This game is 100% more fun with friends. So play with friends or make some, because the lone survivor is a much more tempting target for raids, hold ups and murder.
@jwsoul They did say you can craft weapons and traps, although i predict that they will be ineffective hand made things in the spirit of Alien. For example, a cattle prod thing, an inexplicable space harpoon gun or a propane flamethrower which would do little more than scare the xeno (although it may have been a liquid fuel in the film, i forget).
I hope there isn't any traditional firearms though, would ruin the Alien feel. Equally though, being able to fight back (even fruitlessly) is something that was present in Alien and should be carried over into the game.
@WarReporter That info was given by Burke(sp?) who was lying to Ripley about his knowledge of the xenos. Its plausible that he fabricated the life (and death) of her daughter. Or she merely survived the mission and went on to die of old age.
@GT_APE They where under different management at that time. I think it was something to do with the management not knowing shit about games and just looking to make money. They haven't been around now for years.
@PlatinumPaladin It looked like they where using the actual kinect camera, so i don't think they used it for parts. They must have had to make their own software for it though, probably with the help of MS.
