@gregbmil Because its mechanically quite similar to GTA4. When GTA4 came out it was a big departure from the previous games. If GTA4 was made and released NOW, it would probably get an 8 or something.

That or its because it was reviewed by someone else.

@avalanche814 @MasterOfMordor @Critical_man If the story is satirical and focuses largely on characters, then Caro's point was completely objective. The game is supposed to make fun of sexism, but in places it is just plain sexist. An example would be the way you can touch the strippers as long as the male bouncer doesn't see. Because strippers are fine with men touching them up during a dance?

Don't get me wrong, GTAV is an amazing achievement and probably the best game ever made, but it is not without its faults. And even if they're minor or non-existent to you, to some people they are worth mentioning, and in this instance i happen to agree with Caro.

Its about time gamespot (in this case Johnny) started telling it how it is. Because the hatred directed at certain reviewers/users is just sick. I read a lot of the comments on the GTAV review and the ones Johnny showed where tame in comparison. There are many people here that should feel ashamed of the way they treat other people.

And frankly the look of a console is the most shallow insignificant argument when deciding on what console to buy. My PC is a big, ugly, black and silver monstrosity that allows me to play all the games i want. Does that make it a shit PC?
