Finally! I was hoping for something inspired by Minecraft but with a more relatable environment. Although it's silly that this game wasn't F2P ($20 bucks for an alpha? Really?), I'm really enjoying it so far.
just avoid the game completely. The survival is a false promise, in the end it will boild up to being a troll and loot offline players.
Minecraft with slightly better graphics. I don't have time to play this crap. Most of my friends are playing Minecraft anyways and I hate that game.
hatchet vs boar? a wild boar will fuck u up something bad. gauze anyone?
should need a spear not a hatchet
This game is 100% more fun with friends. So play with friends or make some, because the lone survivor is a much more tempting target for raids, hold ups and murder.
Sounds interesting, I might check it out. What happens when you die and you have a house with a sleeping bag though? You lose everything but the house?
Interested until he mentioned Zombies... Too many games are about ZOMBIES these days... I mean come on, get something original...
looks like dayZ but i like the fpv and the concept of crafting all your gear from scratch. gonna check it out!
I've been having a toss up between buying this or Starbound. Both look awesome, but I think Starbound might win just because of Rust's aggravating playerbase.
@pa_amb_tomaquetGood observation, I love Minecraft though, Fallout 3, New Vegas and Skyrim plus all other open world games like Stalker and Day Z, can play them all on my Dell GX620 P4 PC with an HD Radeon 6450 video card btw :)
This game has already made $12 MILLION since it was set up for early release on steam in December. It's already a success.
No offense but that is just BS. Your either trolling or just sound freakin stupid.
@blackace There's no need to be upset.
@Dan11223344so, team up against newbies?
@vadagar1 Not quite close.
@Korvus85 the only things you lose are items that you carry whit, but if you lose your house you can start from scratch yeh ;)
@Korvus85 I was wondering the same thing. Do you lose everything upon death and start from scratch?
@delta5931COD Ghosts has aliens. Maybe that'll tickle your fancy. lol
@delta5931 zombies are being removed. its been mentioned in the developers notes.
@delta5931 it's already been revealed that zombies will be removed from the game and replaced with something else before release (I've heard rumors of bandit NPCs)
@neverenoughpl get holt of that racism player. my boo a zombie.
@neverenoughpl they are getting rid of zombies soon.
Playing this game with common sense is going to be... difficult.
In Rust, the wolves and bears can glitch up cliffs. "Common sense" kills the unsuspecting player. ;)
@cpo335 you would be suprise how little common sense crops up in rust sometimes, its wonderful!
@cpo335 No it isn't lol. How would someone know how to make a hatchet if they never played the game before.
@Cellpwn I've never even heard of Starbound. Looks pretty cool (in a "Don't tell the makers of Terraria" kind of way).
And I agree with you about Rust - I can imagine the servers are already full of dicks just waiting to ruin everyone else's game (much like most online games, I suppose).
@NosadaAssasin I think them including zombies as a placeholder was a nice touch, since zombies are the generic thing to use nowadays.
