Uh dude, every game is playable offline. There isn't too many games that only support online play(i think Warhawk) but dude you can't beat free online and just because u don't know anyone where u stay thats plays its not like online on links u to ppl in your area. I've played ppl for Australia, Japan, England, Africa, Spain, etc. its krazy the ppl u meet and talk to online. and am i the only one but i never had lag problems with any game on my ps3. a lot of threads about ppl's connections had me wondering
I'm not mad not just at the fact that i have both an 360 Elite and 60GB PS3. I love sony to death, since 96. but let's be real. There's no point in being mad at sony for losing certain exclusives. Why u ask? because there are not enough PS3 owners to maintain that status quo. If ppl want to keep their exclusive title then ppl are gonna have to start buying PS3 hardware and software hands down. The more ps3 sold and in homes the more effort and work Sony will put into the console. If ppl keep buying more ps2 titles and such than ps3 software then of course sony isn't going to pay that extra cash to pay for exclusive games and DLC. I say this, be happy with what u have, they're just video games.
If people still want to play PS2, then they can buy a PS2 for cheap. But obviously by taking out B/C, it makes the PS3 less expensive...

no it didnt. When they 1st deleted the EE chip, tretton stated it didnt reduce cost of the PS3. They want people to buy PS3 games.
Um, yeah thats the whole idea. Why put out a system just for ppl to continue buying games for the prior PS2. They took out BC to push software sales. I'm glad to have my 60GB converted to a 300GB PS3 but I don't understand why ppl get mad at sony for losing exclusives titles and not bringing out more games when you continue to buy ps2 software over ps3 software. If u want to play ps2 games keep your ps2, but if you want to get more exclusives and better ps3 title you're going to have to support the system. point blank. and i agree, Get Over It bruh. Business 101 aka economics aka supply and demand. stop the supply of bc equals more demand of ps3 software and hardware.
I started Drooling watching E3. It looks awesome and I reserved it like 5 months ago. I'm ready for M.A.G also among GOW3 and even Little Big Planet. Home looks awesome. And they even brought out the big guns with the opportunity to buy and rent movies from some big names Like Fox, Lionsgate, ets. They had the best presentation to me because they said F*ck the charts and such and just got to the meat of the presentation with only one speaker. All and all they did the best job even tho they didn't give too many release dates. Thats my only gripe about the Sony presenttation.
I dont get what everybody saying it was boring or uninteresting
They made statistics actually interesting an intergrating it with LBP and out of all the companies they showed the most GAMES

Agree. I wanted to see some upcoming games rather than hearing (AS WE ALWAYS HEAR EVERY CONFERENCE) how much the ps3, psp, or ps2 sells. A Game? HA! Resistance and other games shown weren't even given a release date.
Um we've been known that Resistance 2 was being release November 4th. come at me correct pimpin.
I own all three systems but have been a sony fan since 96. I must admit MS had me a lil worried but SONY Brought their A Game and i'm very impressed and looking forward to everything they offered. What are u guys' thoughts.

So what, can't you just read the box or better yet, who doesn't do research on a product before purchasing. I mean we all know someone or have watched G4, etc to know that only the 20, 60, 80 have BC. be real, u know it in your soul.
