@Shango4 @CyhortI82 @Alves_19 @chatphon Character building and creation isn't an RPG element, nor the ability to choose your own story line through the choices you make? Some of those elements are bedrock RPG principles.
@experience_fade @Haeravon It's so funny how people just comment without reading the article. The article makes it clear as day, yet people are still talking about the Xbox One and cable boxes, when this is simply a Xbox 360 app.
America has a sad future, if this is our level of reading comprehension.
@MetaMods @overblood @microsoft4life Overblood, I suggest you not respond to MetaMods anymore. He/She is clearly having trouble understanding your responses.
@mikemaj82 @Ranma_X_basic - a lot of people buy them without the plan, but usually those are only people who really want the tech and not the general consumer. Same thing with consoles...only core gamers will really want to pay full price for a system when it first comes out. General consumers looking for a new product will gravitate towards the better deal based heavily on pricing.
@AllinTheWording @noah364 If Ryse isn't pure QTE it looks like it could be an engaging game to play, and if definitely felt next gen. Some of the games both systems showed seemed like they could be on PS3/360.
@Ahlan84 @HapiJoel This argument is silly; they mean console exclusives, and are clearly saying that games for either next gen system won't be out for the other next gen system. So if a game is on PS4, but not on X1 but on PC, it's still a Sony exclusive. Likewise, if a game is out for X1, 360 and PC, but not on PS4, then it's an Microsoft exclusive.
The exclusives for both system look solid, although, it looks like the launch window for the X1 exclusives are sooner for most. It also doesn't look like they'll be competing directly in a number of genres early in the lifespan of the systems.
@RussellGorall @JayQproductions What Jay said is precisely correct though. Sony is simply being smart by "leaving" it up to the publishers. Microsoft and Sony will collude in order to assist developers in making more money which allows developers to stay in business and in turn make them more money. Sony has just been smarter about their public statements.
@Yomigaeru @D1nePenn That is a possible scenario. If you're a developer that doesn't self-publish you ultimately still have a greater chance of surviving because your publisher is getting better returns on your games.
@AngelsongCA @DeadlyMustard @D1nePenn That's true, however it doesn't seem to be fully fleshed out yet. I don't know the percentage of people loaning games . . . I imagine that's more of the younger market.
