Generally I buy games that I've been watching right away. If it's something I'm not all that hyped about, then I'll generally wait for the price to fall. I did just purchase Alone in the Dark, seems decent so far, but probably going to wind up regretting it. Might have been a better idea to wait it out, but it was a game I was interested in for a while, so I took a little dive.

Yeah, would really like a Battlefield type MMO, don't think I could do a hardcore combat simulator. I liked Planetside, but it was missing something. Maybe Huxley will be fun if it's even still in production. The only problem I could forsee is latency problems, server lag in a MMOFPS, which I'm guessing it would have to be, is absolutely devastating compared to the fantasy games on the market now. And the game would have to have some sort of solo play to keep the less hardcore crowd in the mix.

It's determined by how many people look at the game's page on the site. Obviously there is a lot of buzz around the KOTOR MMO, so a lot of people have looked at it's page for any information.

Starcraft II - Needs no explanation. Sequel to my favorite RTS ever.

Spore - really close but I've been waiting for a while.

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning - Could use some RvR combat in my gaming diet, so hopefully it will deliver.

Dead Space - Seemed really interesting right from when it was first announced. Gory, deep-space, alien survival horror sounds like it's right down my alley.

Left4Dead - 4 v 4 cooperative multiplayer with big guns and lots of zombies? Sounds like a good time to me.

Project Origin - Follow-up to one of the greatest/scariest shooters ever made, I sure hope it delivers.

Crysis: Warhead - More nano-suit, more guns, more stuff to shoot. More story is all I could ask for from this one.

Diablo III - The Diablo series might not be the deepest set of games out there, but they sure are a good way to mindlessly waste time.

Far Cry 2 - Looking fantastic so far, really looks like Ubisoft is doing the franchise name justice.

Borderlands - Don't know a whole lot about it, but seems really interesting so far, have been keeping an eye on it since GI did a writeup on it last year.

Rage - Another game I don't know much about, but it's coming from iD, so hopefully it will be great.

Deus Ex 3 - But I hope they take their time and make it something epic, don't want another IW, I want Deus Ex 2.0.

That's pretty much the order in which I'm anticipating them. Have high hopes for the ones towards the end, but without knowing a lot about them, I'm just hoping they're great. The sad thing about this list is that a lot of them are coming out right at about the same time, so I'll probably have to pick and choose between what I wind up playing this holiday.

Planescape: Torment if you don't mind a story, a really long story. One of my personal favorites is the original Deus Ex, fair amount of customization and a nice story, definitely in my top 10.

Nice, I like it. A bit gory for cover art I guess, but at least it gives a good idea of what the game is offering. Hopefully they'll release the PC version in a slim DVD case as well, wouldn't mind having the art, but I'm a bit tired of all these fat game cases that serve no purpose.

Homeworld for me, fantastic story really made it great, something Sins seems to be lacking.

Probably won't hear anything about them for a while, then out of nowhere they're going to get released in a content patch so that you can kill them for gear, a la WoW. =P

Or maybe Bioware can pull off some good moves and blend a story into an MMO.

Twice on the 360. Once as a male soldier and another as a male tech. When I played on the PC I decided to play a female biotic, not a big change between the sexes, but a few things here and there were changed up. I played through twice on the same char on the PC and reached level 58 by the end of my second playthrough, going to go back again after bring down the sky is released and try to get the level 60 achievement.

I enjoyed playing it much more on the PC, wish it would have come out at the same time as the 360 instead of having a 6 month delay, barely finished it a first time on my 360 due to it's technical problems. Still a top-notch game, however, can't wait for the next one and hopefully it won't be a limited exclusivity 360 game to start.

Yeah, seems like it might be OK. Don't see anything on the horizon that looks amazing, so I'd call it a hollow victory.
