Since they announced the KOTOR MMO, it seems so much like we are never going to find what ever happened to Revan, or the Exile who went off to find Revan...

couldnt they just stick with good ol' singleplayer KOTOR instead of ruining everything uptil now?

I'm also kind of torn between Kotor SP and MP.

What I'm really wondering about is how they are going to make it so that not every player is a Jedi.

Well, blasters were ridiculously powerful in the KOTOR games, and worked fairly well in the Jedi Knight games. It shouldn't be too hard to balance.

Then again, balancing isn't an issue - we're still going to end up with 18000 Darth Ravens, Derth Ruvens, Dorth Revanns, etc.

Probably won't hear anything about them for a while, then out of nowhere they're going to get released in a content patch so that you can kill them for gear, a la WoW. =P

Or maybe Bioware can pull off some good moves and blend a story into an MMO.

Eh, haven't played Mass Effect yet, but Jade Empire was a bit lacking in my opinion. And this is coming from a guy who thinks Baldur's Gate 2 is the best RPG ever made.

To me MMO=Automatic Fail (I couldn't give a **** about mmo's and I know many other people think the same as me, so I hate that they ruined the KOTOR games with an mmo)

What about if MMOs were free? Would you like them then?

dude, even i wont go that far to say that MMO are absolute ****. i would play one if i could have the time and money.
its just that i want a structured story that wont involve me going into a server to play hundreds of hours to find a clue to what will happen next and wait till the next expansion pack that would present me with another clue and then wait for another expansion pack and so on...

i wanna play a game where there is absolute no lags, no chance d/c, maybe even no fee.

but if there is a chance to find out what the story is behind Revan leaving for the outer regions in the upcoming game, i would so get the MMO game in a heartbeat...

Immersion and story, which were the highpoints of Kotor 1 and 2, are the least thought of factors in MMORPGs. So in a way, KOTOR is ruined for many of us.
