I've got the CE on preorder. I'm a sucker for MMO extras, not sure what I'm going to do with the box though, my others already take up quite a bit of space.

[QUOTE="BioShockOwnz"][QUOTE="AAllxxjjnn"][QUOTE="ninjaxams"]way overated. I've honostly NEVER enjoyed any gta game due to the teenage humar and shat gameplay mechanics but this title at least improves on the gameplay aspect of it. however, the game is incredibly buggy and I'll be getting rid of it as soon as haze drops.
which brings me to another point. why do titles like mass effect get blasted for performance issues when gta4 doesn't. seriously, the game in borderline broken right now....

What are you talking about? I havent run into any bugs so far. I am 26 hours in.
Yup, this game performs rather well for me. Mass Effect had the worst framerate issues and texture loading.
I hardley had any problems with masseffect, maybe you should have cleared your cache. Maybe I have the best 360 ever made but the framerate issues were not a problem for me.
Wow, are your eyes ok? ME ran worse than anything else I've played on the 360. It was a great game no doubt, but it was riddled with bugs and technical issues and wasn't nearly the scope of GTAIV. And the 360 doesn't cache anything, everything is taken off the disk, that's what caused the terrible texture pop-in.
I hate motion controls, the sixaxis pisses me off and feels tacked on in every game I've ever used it in, even Heavenly Sword which everyone seems to think it's great in. If every console in the next gen has games based on or around motion controls I'll be back to PC gaming for another decade.
If anything I expect Sony and Microsoft to strike a deal with each other since technology at the top end won't support two consoles that come out at the same time as is the case right now with everyone in a dead heat as to what actually differentiates the PS3 from the 360; for me, motion controls detract from it more than they add to it, and having a blu-ray player in my game console doesn't do a whole lot for me, although I have come to appreciate the added feature.
In the end, if everyone jumps on the bandwagon of motion controls and casual gaming, a lot of the "hardcore" gamers are going to be put-off by it and it will wind up costing Sony and MS a lot more than they would gain. I like my games fine the way they are now and there's been nothing that I've played on the Wii that has given me anything to match what I've played on my PS3 and 360. Guess Super Mario just isn't for me anymore.
Dead Rising, it's actually the only game that makes me wish I had a 360, yet I'm kind of over it now, played it loads at friends houses.
And yet to be released, who knows, there are games not even announced/we have hardly any info on that could kick ass, like Sadness, Timesplitters 4, and some games from last gen franchises that don't have a sequel yet.

Totally forgot about Dead Rising, it's the reason I purchased my 360, probably one of the more interesting games this generation has seen.
