I've been holding out on getting a 3DS and/or Vita this gen, waiting for that one killer game that will make the decision for me.... This just might be it. TWEWY is a phenomenal handheld game. Question is: will it be on the 3DS or Vita?

The VGAs are like the MTV Movie Awards: everyone watches it for the lolz, but it is fanbased without any real critical value compared to the likes of the Cannes Film Festival Awards (ie what we would consider the ideal avatar of Videogame Journalism, which, to me, does not exist as of yet).
I like that people in this thread are not expecting much, so that way, when the announcement does come, a lot of the forum dwellers on this web site are either going to be taken by suprise and blown away, or will just remain neutral .actionjunkie10
I dunno about you, but that sounds like a decent strategy at either not getting disappointed or getting majorly surprised. Either way, it's a win-win situation to those that stand by this.
Knowing GS, they award GOTY for revolutions rather than evolutions: this kicks out Batman Arkham City, Uncharted 3 and Gears 3 out of the contest arena for me.
GOTY will probably end up between Dark Souls, Skyrim, and Zelda SS, which offer enough innovation in their games to break the mould of sequeldom and pave their way to GOTY.
This will be a masterpiece long to be remembered, just like Team ICO's previous titles. At this point, I've waited long enough that I can wait for them to work their magic to perfection.
Looking forward to it. Right now, League of Legends is incredibly popular (among the top 3 most played online games in the world), mainly because of its wide diversity of champions, frequent champion releases and ultimately, its price (free-2-play). We'll see if DOTA2 can steal some thunder from LOL, but it's hard to compete with something free to begin with.
Best way I see GS tackling this issue concerning PC and consoles is to keep the 2 in separate categories:
PC is too much of a beast of its own to be compared to consoles: as such, it should be reviewed and scrutinized as its very own category, with its own set of standards.
