I normally gripe and whine about delays, but this is Team ICO: they are the exception to the rule. They are perfectionists: I would prefer to let them bide their time and be completely and utterly satisfied with their results before releasing it to their fans. Chances are if they are satisfied, then we in turn would be completely and utterly speechless at the majesty of the game.

Ahah, watched the gameplay video, Captain Qwirk says at some point: "Hm... Not bad. I'd give it an 8.5." ROFL.

This is going strictly by "manufacturing cost", which is only half of the cost of selling a product. You've got marketing expenses, labour costs, publishing fees and a whole other bunch of costs that make up the other half. Still, a manufacturing cost at half of the retail price is mighty impressive, even for Nintendo.

Last Gen was a 9.5, inching ever so close to a 10. This Gen would be a solid 8 for me. Not the best, but solid nonetheless.

Man, this footage makes me crave for a Kojima ZOE game on the PS3.... WHERE IS IT? Footage looks amazing: these indie devs are doing more impressive engine work within the constraints of their ressources (financial, manpower, time) than many of the megacorporations today in their abundant wealth and sheer manpower.

While it does look nice (and I mean, really really nice), graphics are starting to show diminishing returns. Remember that Epic Games tech demo that showed gameplay footage of Unreal Tournament III before this gen started? Or that Heavy Rain tech demo with the teary-eyed, mad woman? That was mind blowing at the time. Now the leap isn't so large, it seems.

Hope its really really hard, Demon's Souls was too easy

Zurrur

I mean yes, to some of us, Demon's Souls wasn't as difficult as what the majority of gamers have witnessed, but for Demon's Souls to be "too easy", really?

Many Fan Artists make better boxarts than the box art designers themselves.

I mean, just look at these, all made with the comic book artstyle Infamous is proud of:

Or this:

I would seriously donate these artists my money, and print these out on gloss paper and replace that ugly official boxart Infamous 2 has going for, according to TC's post.
