@ballordie01 I have played Unit 13 and thought it was great. If you like the Socom and Metal Gear Solid type gameplay, then you will love Unit 13. I have also played Dragon's Crown and Muramasa: Rebirth. These are 2 of the most beautiful games I have ever seen on any system. If you like action/RPG games, then these 2 will quench your thirst for sure. Gravity Rush is pretty good. The Walking Dead is pretty good. Need For Speed: Most Wanted is one of the best racing games out there. I am looking to play Asphalt: Injection too. Hope this helps out some for you. Can't wait for Killzone: Mercenary to come out in a few weeks.
For now, I will play the games I have and wait to see when the new Zelda hits. Hoping we are not looking at another 6 months to a year for that release. 3DS is still the superior handheld right now.
Yeah, after seeing the gameplay footage for Ghost, more of the same old heading our way. Have a feeling that the multi player will be more of the same as well. At this point, it is kind of difficult to come up with anything different than the formula they have now.
@Grenadeh @BOctober26 I'll wait for Microsoft to make that official announcement. On the other hand, the price of used games will never be low anymore. I paid $5.00 for Gears of War over 2 years ago. You think that an XBOX One used game will ever be that price? We will see what Microsoft has to say.
I got started really late to the XBOX 360 party. My first and only 360 is the 4GB model. But, I have played through the Gears Of War games, Homefront, Silent Hill: Downpour, the Call of Duty games and the Halo games. I must say it has been a great system. Still not happy about the XBOX One mainly because the price of XBOX Live will go up, the used games fee and the price of the system at launch. XBOX One seems like more of a money grab than anything else. I am going with what keeps the most cash in my pocket for the next gen systems.
One big problem with today's consoles and future consoles, they are all breaking way too early for the price being charged. My PS3 lasted 4 years and 8 months. This is ludicrous when I am paying $400.00 plus dollars for something. Not to mention, I have a Gamecube that is at least 10 years old and still works to this day. My Nintendo Wii sometimes freezes while making a high pitch tone and the clicking noises coming from the disc drive. After I hold the power button in for 5 seconds or so, power it off and then power it back on, it works fine again. I have had my Wii for probably 5 years, give or take. Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo all force you to buy new hardware when the old hardware breaks. They need to make these consoles work more like a computer with interchangeable parts.
Nope, not paying another $500.00 for a system that will inevitably fail. I paid $500.00 for my PS3 and it recently got the yellow light of death. My 360 is still running, but I bought it new 2 years ago in the slim version. When I only get 4 years and 8 months out of my PS3, that does not sit well at all with me. Praying my XBOX will not follow the same trend or worse.
Little events throughout the year will be nice instead of one big event in June only. The Wii U will eventually pickup steam. Everyone talked smack about the 3DS after it released. Now, the 3DS is the king of the handhelds. The games just keep coming all year long and my wallet gets thinner on cash. Just for the record, I am not a fan of the Wii U nor was a fan of the Wii. Too many gimmicky hardware pieces to deal with.
